A great place for cyclists to stop and grab a coffee and cake, but the most sought after menu item is the legendary toasted cheese sandwich!!! Plenty of seating both outside, if it’s sunny, as well as under cover. 😃👍
One of the best cheese toasties I've had!! Plus, great walks around the local area, short and long depending on your group
Original place to visit. Quite busy and on trend with yummy mummys/lycra clad cyclists. Food and drink : cheese toasties and some very spectacular cakes. Worth a visit for a coffee and cake I would say.
Cheese toasties to die for and more! Great place to stop for a bite to eat with a good selection of food and drinks to choose from. Very rustic in a barn with wood chip on the floor but it adds to the whole atmosphere and experience. A small gift shop selling the local cheeses that are used in the c
This is an interesting and unusual cafe in an agricultural barn with seating inside and out and a small cheese shop in addition. It is adjacent to the parish church of Nettlebed where the actress Celia Johnson is buried (Brief Encounter; In which we serve; etc). The food is good café stuff with an e
This is an earthy coffee and cheese Place. Really good cheese toasties and great coffee. All served up in a tidy barn
There is loads of parking around the back.
Seating is on benches.
Nettlebed has many good walks, so take a stroll before, to prepare yourself for the cheese onslaught.

This place is awesome. The coffee is nice, but their viennoiseries are perfect! I never ate such a good pain au raisin and croissant in my life (and I’m French, lived in France 20 years, so I ate a lot of it). They also have a small deli shop inside the shed, selling their own cheeses. I loved the B
Out for a walk we stopped here for refreshments. A tea and latte plus two cinnamon worles. Table service and plenty of seating, inside and out. Managed to arrive moments before a large group of cyclists from Beaconsfield or we would have had a long wait to order at the counter.
Highly recommended.
A great find! We had the best cheese toasties ever! Lots of seating inside and out - a lovely place to sit and chat with friends.
We visited the Cheese Shed today after a walk through the woods. It was a joy to sit outside in the autumn sunshine and enjoy the delicious cheese toasties with melting cheese. The coffee and smoothie were both just what we needed after our walk.
The only downside for me was the portaloo!
Excellent cheese toasties, outside undercover. Great in summer, but can get a bit drafty / chilly otherwise. Well worth the experience.
This place is awesome - great coffee, delicious fresh pastries and great grilled cheese sandwiches. I love the space, the rural setting, the big barn feel ... reminds me of when I lived in Texas! There is a nice delis and dairy shop here as the name implies. Been here twice and will definitely come
Saw this place on a friends FB page and decided to do a walk and pop in after. Glorious sunny day, so sat outside, plenty of seating in and out. Very busy but quick service. I had the pink berry smoothie and a cheese toastie "naughty" some chilli jam would have added a kick maybe next time if this i
Always a lovely place to visit. The coffee is excellent and the cheese toasties are wonderful - not much other savoury food but it is called 'The Cheese Shed'. The shop is great, and although quite expensive, the kefir is almost worth the trip on its own. Walking from the shed is great and the dogs
Great spot, really nice cheese toastie oozing with cheese. Minor but could do with some seasoning to make the toasty even better.
Great outside area, has car park, iced latte was yummy! The cheese toasty was delicious ended up buying the cheese! Very dog friendly and child friendly, they had some toys outside to play with which was really nice!
I absolutely love the cheese shed. There signature cheese toasties are to die for! The coffee is great also! The setting itself is beautiful, and a great location for an afternoon stroll. I couldn’t recommend it more.
I saw the sign while driving on the road and was curious. Tried this place on a Sunday to grab a coffee and few cheeses. The drinks were very nice and the place cosy and comfortable. The cheeses are amazing! We tried the Bix and Highmore this time. The price are also very reasonable. I will come bac
