This place is an absolute gem in the area. We came here 3 days in a row whilst visiting. The coffee and food here is lovely - we’d have 2 coffees in a row to get our fix. Best thing are the staff that work here, everyone is so nice and friendly. Especially the owners’ doggies that wander about. H
Fantastic shop with a great selection of everything you could need (and more) while camping. Food in the cafe is delicious and the bread and cake selections to buy are brilliant.
This is such a special place with friendly staff and locals. We sat outside for breakfast and watched the world go past whilst having a great coffee and vegan sausage ciabatta. All the locals seemed to know each other - it felt like being on a soap opera set ! Highly recommended.
Very friendly cafe/ ahop. Staff are always willing to help. Good selection of homemade cakes
This place is a delightful community shop. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is refreshingly genial. It is exactly the way a village shop should be. My wife and I stayed here as the owner has just opened a b&b on site. The accommodation is lovely (a decent size self-contain
Enjoyed a fabulously cooked breakfast. Local bacon and sausages really tasty. Great service and cosy atmosphere
We had a wonderful breakfast at the cafe- a large group of us to cater for and everything was cooked perfectly. Coffee was great too. We then got takeaway sandwiches for later in the day which were huge and absolutely delicious. Just when we thought the cafe couldn’t get any better- when struggling
It was many years before i have found a truly fantastic village store. Yes they are a bit more expensive than your supermarket but look at the financial and environmental savings by supporting your local shop. Not just a Post Office they supply freshly baked bread, pastries, sweet and savoury, sand
Friendly, helpful staff, lovely atmosphere. The shop holds a wide range of items, from everyday necessities to gifts, greetings cards and things you just wouldn’t expect to find but could be just the thing you need, with the added bonus of the Post Office too. The cafe area is cosy, the menu is vari
We were looking for a family and dog friendly cafe for a post camping breakfast. We were lucky enough to find this gem. Everyone had a delicious breakfast, a really friendly welcome and nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend!
Lovely village shop/cafe/post office. Amazing friendly staff. Dog friendly. Super fresh locally sourced delcious cooked food. Perfect place for a cuppa and/or bite to eat. Convenience of a local village shop together with a Post Office. A great example of how rural village shops should be.
I have no Idea what the previous reviewer (Olly) is talking about ... the staff or should I say 'stuff' as he did, are never rude, I have been there when their delivery has been a bit late and they gave me something extra free in place of the thing they didn't have - or did you forget to mention tha
I regularly have a delicious breakfast here. Shop stocks essentials, including gifts and cards. Post office is efficient and supplies all usual services. My wife enjoys browsing all the different bits and pieces, while I brows the local sourced beer. A fun shop!
Great coffee and cake! This lovely village shop/cafe has post office, cafe and store supplies. Friendly locals run the shop and help look after the community. Great place to pop into for lunch or a break. Highly recommend.
Had a great lunch, thanks to Janette, Nichola and the rest of the staff
Best Village Shop I have been to Visited 3 times on cycles always welcomed by friendly dog(s), staff and even somehow fellow customers. Toasties are amazing and has good selection including pick a mix style sweets World away from grumpy Town shops
Amazing little shop. We were camping near by and made the hour walk through the woods and torrential rain for supplies. The lovely owner then offered to give us a lift back to camp. Can’t thank them enough! Lovely people!
A traditional village store is a rarity nowadays but there is one at Netherfield Village. It is run by a mother and daughter team and has become invaluable to the local community during the covid19 crisis. It is a shop, also a Post Office and even a cafe. If they have not got what you want in stock
