We had such a lovely stay at The Dog and Gun this past weekend! We were greeted warmly and shown to our room which was absolutely lovely and clean! We were pleased to find thoughtful touches such as ground coffee with a french press and fresh baked cookies from the chef. We had an early departure and the staff were exceptionally accommodating, delivering a continental breakfast to our room in place of the hot breakfast (which we were gutted we missed!) The pub itself was superb- from the attentive service to the delicious food! Very cozy place to unwind with a pint or glass of wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and we're just disappointed we had such a short stay!

The food and the staff here were amazing. The space itself is really cosy and inviting. We were staying in the village so it was just a short walk for us but there is a decent sized car park. The pub was dog friendly so we were able to take our dog to dinner with us. Furthermore, we found that the vegetarian options on the menu were delicious. We couldn't fault this place 💕

We had a booking on a Sunday afternoon and it was lovely. The roasts were amazing, good portions and great quality. The team were very friendly and looked after our large booking including 4 kids and 3 dogs spectacularly. Can't recommend enough.

One of my favourite places in the local area. Wonderful beers on tap and fantastic food. If you are lucky enough to visit in the summer when the BBQ is on, it is a real treat. If not, don't worry, the pizza is Nole so always fantastic. And if all else fails, the other menu choices are great. The decor inside is lovely and the garden to the back is great too.

Excellent food, lovely pub and really nice staff. We had a great time there. We went there twice for diner and would have loved to stay around longer and try the whole menu as our meals were so good. The vegetarian options are also excellent.

Stayed for a couple of nights whilst attending a wedding. Rooms were comfortable, and breakfast was help yourself continental + cooked breakfast available. Everything we ate was excellent. Rooms didn't supply as many towels as we would have liked.(im sure more would have been available) if we had asked. Not a complaint, just an observation. A small bar with stocked beers and ales on tap.Parking is limited, but we found a space to squeeze into both evenings.. All in all a nice little place.

We were visiting family that have recently moved to the area and as we wanted something to eat, we thought we would try this place. The pub was quite full when we arrived, with lots of happy looking diners which is always reassuring. We were immediately seated and the staff were perfectly attentive but not fussy. We did not have to wait long for the food which was excellent quality and good value. This would be a great place to eat if you are visiting the local area which is very close to Stone Henge. I can't comment on the hotel as I was not aware that it was one.

Good range of local beers on tap, beautifully presented food. Thoroughly lovely attentive staff. Table water kept topped up without the feeling of being watched. Pork belly Sunday roast with soft meat, bubbled crackling and a huge Yorkshire pudding. The spicy chicken burger was incredibly moist and nice and spicy with genius gravy mayo. A must visit. Dog friendly.

The food is lovely, the pies are huge and the staff is very friendly, but the price is pretty hefty. We had originally planned on eating there every night of our 4 day stay in Netheravon, but we just can't afford £20/pie each every night. We did not stay in the hotel so no opinion on the rooms.
