What a lovely place to take the children. We had a lovely walk through the bluebells and a picnic in beautiful surroundings. The people who work there were lovely and even rescued our ball from the duck pond.
Lovely spot! Relaxing walks around the grounds and top notch cakes in the tea room. Highly recommended!!
Beautiful surroundings, had a lovely walk followed by tea and cake in the tea room well recommended x
Working farm full of interesting things for a 4 year old to marvel at lovely walk and great tea and cake the young man of the house who served us was a delight and a credit to his family and he made a special friend in my son when he sat him on the tractor!
Lovely time at the open farm day... such a beautiful place!
I came to open farm Sunday today with three generations of our family and we had a lovely afternoon: Enjoyable, well-organised event. My two year old loved the “crocodile tractor”
Beautiful walks - the bluebells are gorgeous but to be honest this walk could be enjoyed any time of the year. Then tasty cakes, great friendly service and a great cuppa....what more do you need? Highly recommended.
It is a beautiful historical place that's natural and peaceful, yet so close to all the major networks in the Midlands.
Great walks around the woods and great tea and cake to finish it off!
Fell in Love with Whitacre Hall. . Beautiful Peaceful and Friendly folks. . Although I have only been a couple of times. . I will miss not been able to walk the woods around the lake/pond and connect with the Gee Gees
Please let me know when we can walk again. . Wish you were open EVERY WEEKEND
Teresa and Carl you have Perfect space to create Retreat Escaped. . Would love to help if you ever thought of going that way!

Well Done keep Creating
Great day out at the open farm event.
Looking for somewhere to visit on a sunny day, within half an hour of Sutton Coldfield, and this lovely place was an obvious choice. Let's get the negatives out of the way first.
If you're a nervous driver and usually avoid country lanes at all costs, this isn't the place for you. Plenty of cars parked up, but I suspect quite a few were more interested in walking their dogs, or simply enjoying the many nearby walks.
Don't like seeing cakes already sliced and in plastic packaging.
OK, the positives most definitely outweigh the minuses.
Sitting outside overlooking the lake with a pot of tea and a slice of cake is almost magical. Couldn't fault the service. And Yes, we did have a stroll around the lake. Some of the Carp looked like they might be capable of dragging you in if you ventured too close. 😁
It's well worth negotiating the narrow bumpy lanes to reach this gem of a cafe. Friendly staff, and tasty breakfast. Tranquil setting, where you can relax, and enjoy the scenery.
Whitacre is a family favourite of ours. The cakes and breakfasts are excellent and there is a good selection of warm and cold drinks. The walk is lovely and well maintained, there are poo bins for dogs and also an additional fairy trail (plus others) for little ones. The cafe view is lovely, overlooking the pond with geese and fish to look at. I'm the winter the fire will be on inside to warm up after your walk.
Our first time at this place and won't be our last. Beautiful place, the walks are very scenic and to finish your walk ,a nice tea/coffee cake/meals on the decking overlooking the lake. Excellent atmosphere x friendly staff. Highly recommended.
A lovely location with country walks and lake. You drive through a working farm before arrived at the Tea Rooms. Everything is freshly prepared and delicious. Highly recommend.
Lovely find for a walk ending in the Lovely tea room sat on the decking overlooking the lake. In autumn or winter be prepared for a bit of mud on the walk though. Will come again!
Perfect place to spent a few hours with family/dogs. Great Walks around the countryside farmland and excellent food fresh made on site
What a great find, thought Dog Lane finished at the pub but carry on for about another half mile to the entrance of Whitacre Hall Farm with tea room patio and dog walks.
Really nice setting overlooking the fishing lake. On the day that we went there were complimentary treats for the dog and even cooked an extra sausage if you wanted it.
Will certainly be adding the venue to our regular walk list.
Dog ice cream available.
Nice place to have coffee near the lake. There's a creative woodland experience for kids and lovely horses.
We came today for afternoon tea and it was lovely from start to finish the food was outstanding and staff was friendly and helpful will definitely be back.
Super place ... gentle walk in tranquil countryside... and a cuppa and sticky bun to follow... great way to spend a Sunday morning!
Quite a find out in the wilds of North Warwickshire , good for cyclists, pleasant decking area overlooking lake and angling , good selection of Food and Drinks, lots of queues today , maybe first day of opening , Take Dog Lane from centre of Nether Whitacre, 1 mile on the left.
Great location, lovely coffee and cakes and very cycle friendly...
Had a wonderful Italian tasting menu by Broken Yolk Catering. Just a lovely experience and the food was tasty! Good price too, would definitely recommend and we will be back!
Positive: Visited for the first time today (06/07/22) with my teenage daughter and her great aunt. My satnav hates me, and once tried to drown me in Poole Harbour so when we started going down single track lanes I wasn't entirely convinced it wasn't drunk. However we made it and found a charming lodge/cabin type building and decked area over looking a lake surrounded by beautiful mature trees.
Great Aunt wasn't up to the walk so we had a traditional breakfast, a vegan breakfast, and a sausage batch (Coventrian for sausage bap). The staff were friendly, and efficient. Something you rarely see was there were plenty of staff, including one training, and everyone of them spoke or made us feel welcome in some way, made eye contact and seemed to be really happy to be there.
We chatted whilst we waited for our food, and got to greet several beautiful and (well behaved) dogs. The food was excellent, the quality of the sausage, bacon and black pudding doesn't lie. We didn't feel rushed and staff stopped to speak and check on us and really made us feel welcome.
I managed a latte, whilst the others had cake, and an ice cream. Both looked amazing and I they thoroughly approved.
Negative: I could imagine if busy there might be queues for the loos, but isn't there always?
The prices are not cheap greasy spoon take away, but you get the service and food quality you'd expect from a tea room experience.
Very impressed, will be back.
Love visiting this place, its just perfect quality food, decent price in wonderful surroundings. Winter or summer it's worth visiting.
Lovely tea room, and food was superb. They baked us a lemon birthday cake, which was delicious and staff sang happy birthday. Just wonderful.
