Best takeaway I've had for years. I thought my taste buds were withering but enjoyed like I used to. Lived around Nelson for years and always gave this place a miss because of the somewhat dowdy shopfront. Boy was I wrong.
Beautiful as always! Be prepared to wait for delivery (we knew this so ordered early) all good things comes to those that wait. Lovely polite service. I wouldn't order from anywhere else.

Been comin here since it opened over 20 years ago , same highly skilled staff. Always answers the phone with a friendly voice. AMIR and his family are recognised throughout the south Wales area . Simla is a rare gem in the heart of Nelson offering quality , service and price. Theres no other Indian
We have been using the Simla for over 18 years. The staff are really pleasant and food excellent never had a bad meal. We always have home delivery and have never been disappointed food always hot.
By far the best Indian takeaway in the area( I've tried them all!) Cannot be beaten on taste or content. The service is slow but we always prepare ourselves for the wait and order early and dont stress too much when the 90 mins is 3 hours...... because we know that some things are worth waiting for
Lovely food. Can be busy. Would order and wait rather than have your food delivered. You could wait up to 2 hrs for a delivery as the place is so popular. Would recommend.

Outstanding! Popped in to get a Garlic Karma Nann and Chicken Pakora,salad and sauce and from the customer service to the quality of the food everything was 10/10 .... Highly recommended!

Absolutely smashing curry and biryani! Cooked to perfection every time that I hear angels heralding each dish. Adding a drop of pure angel tear to each dish to give it that perfection!
My partner has the chicken tikka masala every time and it is "off the chain"
