Great food, homemade and great value for money...this was the salmon on spinach and crushed potatoes with a crayfish sauce...partner had roast beef which came with side bowls of veggies and a cauliflower cheese which is amazingly cheesy.

We arrived at a very busy time but were well looked after . The food was first class . The kids menu was great The portions huge more like an adult size but well accepted. Can't fault.

I only popped in for a pint but seems like a nice place. There is lots of outside space which would be nice in the summer. There were plenty of people in there for an evening meal. Nice cosy pub feel.

Being part of Stowmarket & District Cycling Club we have been welcomed into the Rampant Horse as a point to finish our rides at. The staff are always friendly and offer a great service. Outside seating with live music and good draught beer and good selection of other drinks. Also serves food as a restaurant and is always busy on a weekend , so maybe always best to book before hand. Live music is normally Rock and Roll.

Only a few choices for vegetarians but the meal I had was very nice. Glad I was sharing the onion rings as portion quite large and very nice!

Polite and friendly service in this tidy Inn. The two swans IPA wasn't to my taste, my first time, but served well. Great outside space.
