I love the Castle hotel. Lovely team running it, luxurious feel, and the newly refurbished rooms are a delight. I’ve stayed in the standard rooms before, and they’re great, but stayed in one of the suites this time. Wow, just wow. Great night’s sleep in a huge and comfortable bed with a super ‘wake
Stayed only for one night while traveling in South Wales. As good as it can be being a 3 star hotel. The bed was quite comfortable, the room and the bathroom were clean, breakfast was average and it could have a few more vegetarian options (but no other client seemed to mind 🤷‍♂️). Parking is relati
Travelled from London for an impromptu few nights in South Wales. It was a great base to allownusbto visit beaches such as Port Talbot, Cawell Bay & Three Cliffs. The hotel was everything that we'd hoped for. Clean tidy and full of character, and the beds were comfortable. Var parking was provided a
Visited for a 65th birthday party and my friend stayed at the hotel in a 4 poster bed and said it was amazing,we had reasonable priced drinks and there was a lovely buffet laid on.
Lovely pub, been here twice so far and there's been great music each time. Tried their amaretto sour which was lovely. Quick bar service and plenty of seating. Saw the new year in, which was nice.
A comfortable place to eat serving a very good tasty and well presented Sunday lunch. The Berry cheesecake was one of the best I have ever tasted
The place was fairly busy, we didn't have a reservation but they managed to find a seat for my family and I with one of us in a wheelchair. Plenty of space to move around, the facilities were clean, clutter free and nicely presented. The service was amazing, the waiters were very helpful, knowledgea

What a lovely place, the staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much for them. The town was very busy, because of a beer festival and having been here on a previous occasion, and loved it, we headed for there again, but as we came nearer, we could see it was full too. As we were wonderin
Went for Sunday lunch, had turkey which was plentiful, cheeky little roastie and a parnip, with peas and carrots, gravy was lovely, however I just felt it lacked cabbage or another fresh veg, didn't feel like value for money at £12.95, but enjoyable all the same.
Had our daughter's wedding here and couldn't fault the venue or service. Ann the wedding planner was amazing and kept everyone calm with her efficient manner ...nothing was too much trouble. The room where wedding was held looked beautiful and the meal was excellent. All staff were amazing. Thanks f
Lovely place, really spacious interior, couldn't fault the place. Good beer at reasonable prices, pleasant friendly staff. Would have had 5* but for stop tap at 10, with residents only served after that. Would definitely recommend tho!
I've stayed in the castle many times over the last few years. I have always had a lovely stay the staff are always very welcoming. Mike the night porter was really friendly and extremely nice fella.
