Visited with family. Very pleased with All our meals and will definitely be visiting again. Good Value for money and Good portion sizes. Would recommend.

just came home from a very busy restaurant,but all credit to staff we were seated and served very quickly.
drinks ordered and waited for our food 8oz gammon and rump steak for other half.both very delicious and cooked to perfection� hot and plenty of it.
servers very attentive and staff smiley and polite.
all.in all a great experience and one I will deffinately do again.

Visited here in the opening day, we were seated straight away despite not booking and every single member of staff were polite. One of them was straight on hand when my nephew knocked his drink over. Food was beautiful and very reasonably priced. Only £22 for two adults meals and two children’s meals 👌🏻 We will 100% be regular customers as we were with The Copper Penny 😊
Oh and loving the new free refills, excellent added bonus for us!
Went there yesterday with my mother and nan (who are regulars and go there every Friday), the place looks stunning now, so modern and fresh. The unlimited drinks and ice cream station next to the carvery is amazing, brilliant feature added. Food was lush, the beef was cooked to perfection, I ate the lot. Definitely be going there again and recommending to all family and friends xx
We took 3 little grandkids today after school , the food was amazing , staff very helpful and friendly , good value , had the carvery deal , cake and ice cream OMG ! Amazeballs !

Had lovely meals here today, first visit since the refit, the bar man acknowledged us on arrival, & asked us to take a seat as the waitress would be over soon....(which is new as previously orders were taken at the bar.).... Within minutes our waitress arrived, very attentive & helpful, her name was Sharon, she did regular table checks & took dishes as soon as we had finished, then was straight over to see if we wanted desserts! Very impressed with atmosphere, decor & staff! Well done!

We've visited here twice in the past two weeks. The food is good, the Landlord and all his staff are very friendly and provide excellent service. Recommended.

Came here Friday afternoon, had the Burger and fries with onion rings and my wife had the carvery, both meals were lovely. The burger was stunning and my wife said the meat on the carvery was lovely and soft. Booked here for Christmas Day, hope it's just as nice then 😀
Very much enjoyed our meal here. Seemed to be quite a busy place but plenty of tables. We didn't need to book ahead, but visited on a Wednesday night so peak days/ times may need a booking. Staff were friendly and selection of food/drinks was plentiful. Portions were generous in my opinion and food tasted good.

Enjoyed the pub grub, spacious pub/ restaurant that offers a carvery as well. You can order from the table really easily, and our food was served quickly and hot. Good price. Will return
Staff were very welcoming. The food was the usual 1st class srandard. 3 of our party had the carvery and 1 of our party had the gammon meal. It was very busy in the Restaurant, but the tables were cleared away quickly and the carvery food was kept topped up
Loved it here. All the of us had carvery. Bed was a little red, which was great for me but put other customers off. The chef offered to cook it more if people preferred. All the veg along with the meats were well cooked and delicious. Great service asking if anything was needed and available when required but not constantly hovering. Friendly, happy atmosphere, would recommend it to everyone and already talking about going back again soon.
Lovely food, I have had Hunters Chicken and my partner had regular carvery. Both were lovely, The Ultimate Beef Burger / Cowboy Burger is really nice!
We are regular visitors here. The service was very good, as we usually experience, food good and didn't have a long wait for the food.

We loved our carvery on Sunday evening. We have always enjoyed the carvery at Margam Deer. I had a large plate carvery with mixed meats. The roasties were perfect and crispy and fluffy in the middle, the meat was succulent and very tasty and the mash was divine as we're the roasted parsnip cubes. The veg was all cooked to perfection and the gravy was the perfect thickness and was very tasty. Josh the chef was very friendly as was Kylie as always and we would definitely recommend Margam Deer for carvery. Looking forward to our next visit soon. Rod and Rebecca ❤️🍽⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went with my grandaughter, she likes the menu too. Ate the carvery roast which was really tasty and hot, also enjoyed a dessert. We often go as a family and everyone is happy with the menu choices. We did feel sorry for Tina who was the only person taking orders and making drinks, queuing was quite long and there didn't seem enough staff on. Nobody to help her. A few people gave up waiting and left which was a shame, Tina was very rushed but stayed calm and polite at all times.
A group of 5 hungry workmen were looking forward to the carvery. Unfortunately the carvery had pretty much sold out, so we decided to eat from the main menu. 4 mega mixed grills and one standard mixed grill. That's a lot of meat to cook in one go! But it was perfectly cooked! And all meals were brought to out table at the same time. The lady serving us was called Tia and she was so friendly and professional. In a way, I'm glad the carvery was off as the mixed grill was faultless!
