Have been a few times and the service is good. Even when they are busy. Food is fresh. A nice place to go for some good English food. Best to reserve a table as they do get full often.

Extremely impressed. I am disabled and staff couldn't have been more helpful without making a fuss. Good choice of food and drink. I had sea bream which was cooked perfectly. It also came with samphire, not often seen on menus which was also cooked perfectly.

Love a trip to the Dovecote - one of my favourite local(ish) pubs. I visited here fairly regularly and have never had a bad experience. Fresh, tasty food and really good portions! The black and blue steak is a particular favourite.
Popped in today the staff were lovely and pleasant the place itself is very nice, It has a decent beer garden too.

Visited The Dovecote for the first time today with a friend, I have driven past many times on my commute, and wanted to give it a go. Booking is advised (as is anywhere on a Sunday). We booked for 12pm & were taken to our table promptly, and waiting staff were very attentive.

Visited 21st Nov in the evening. Never been for food before but it was so good. Great choice and they do a Sunday carvery which will certainly be trying. Service was great and although it was busy we felt very well looked after. Had steak and ale pie and couldn’t fault it. Give this place a try.

We ordered food for a takeaway collection. They have children's menu, and I was impressed with the choices available for vegetarians, food was packaged appropriately and still warm when we brought it home. They forget to give us sauces that were stated on the menu, but other than that we were happy
