Great village shop. Has everything and more, great selection of essentials and gourmet goodies. Sandwich counter closes at 3pm for last order. Outdoor seating. Be sure to check out their cheese selection, also bought the best ham ever there, and the bakery selection was great esp. The treacle tart.
Lovely shop, great produce, great food. In addition peaceful place to sit with a coffee and cake.
A week ago I was on the canal suffering from hay-fever and a painful back from the intense sneezing. Phoned the Stores who located some treatments for both, and then I walked into their veritable treasure trove - what do they *not* stock?! Left with some gluten-free flapjack soaked in Napton honey!
Nice shop, great range of pastries and general food items. Push button coffee machine, but fair enough as they're not Costa.
Wow, what's not to like? A modern take on the old village store that's an absolute gem. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Merchandise well presented and eclectic with a fantastic selection of local and artisanal produce. Add on the fact you can stop for lunch and it's difficult to fault. Pricey? Qua
Nice little stop off point if you have been out walking seating out the front. Staff are not very welcoming, lovely milkshakes for the kids .Rolls freshly made overpriced but lovely.
What a lovely shop. I live in America but when I travel to UK, I will be looking for this shop. I saw it on Country House Gent on YouTube.
Sorry. I miss read the article. It was a nice walk along the canal. Also I was very impressed with the shop. A very good selection and very pleasant staff.
It would be easier to list the products not sold in this shop. From delicious deli counter and local buffalo steaks to mouse traps, cleaning products and balloon animal kits 😂😂. Staff are friendly and helpful. Very useful for narrow boaters as it's only 5 minutes walk from the canal. Great shop, I d
