We went for an impromptu lunch and luckily they were able to accommodate. The staff were very accommodating and the service was excellent throughout.
I went for Nantwich Blue cheese salad and the seasonal vegetable risotto. The presentation and flavours were on point. Initially I did think the serving for the risotto was small, but the bowl was deceptive and I was more than satisfied with the portion.
Considering the beautiful historic setting, I did feel the dining room we were in was a little soleless, that's my only criticism and it is minor, I'd definitely return again in the future
Absolutely outstanding, high quality afternoon tea. We were a table of 16 and the service was excellent throughout the afternoon. They even catered for the Vegan member in our party.

My husband and I went for lunch for my birthday he had oysters then the roast rump,of beef I had seafood cocktails then chicken mushroom orzo I had a lovely gin cocktail while the husband had some peroni the staff where so friendly and attentive the place was lovely would highly recommend
Me and my partner enjoyed a 2 hour slot of bottomless brunch today. The pork belly we ordered was the best I've tasted. Perfect cut of pork, we were both in our element. Couldn't fault the service, venue, surroundings. 5 stars from both of us. See you again soon 👍🏼
We booked Churches for our post wedding day party. The communication from Jo in the lead up was great and on the day Sophia was our point of contact, she was exceptional and really went above and beyond for us, she's definitely a credit to the Churches team. It rained at the time of our BBQ so all was changed to inside and then when the weather brightened up, it was seamlessly moved to outside.
The food that we had was absolutely amazing and all the guests commented on how great this was.
We would definitely recommend Churches for anyone looking to hold their event there.
Great food, we had Sunday lunch. It was served friendly and professionally by the staff who were also very attentive.
We sat outside in the garden, plenty of parasols and shade under the trees, if required. Very relaxing and peaceful.
Excellent- we would happy recommend and come again.

Beautiful Sunday lunch with the family. Great food and service and amazing cocktails. The best Negroni I've ever had (even better than in Italy!). Tried an excellent Carajillio as well (like a super Espresso Martini). Yum! Matteo is an amazing mixologist and friendly bartender and the staff are lovely too.
Excellent food. Historic setting. Can't be beaten. Not expensive at lunch if you choose correctly. Fish and chips are amazing!! Breads lovely. Deserts nice. Beautiful presentation. Place oozes class but without being pretentious. You obviously get some ladies that lunch who spend nothing but love to be seen over a cheap glass of wine (and block a table for 3 hours whilst spending nothing). That's typical sadly. But for foodies and serious dinners this is a lovely place.
Very attentive staff and excellent food. The Sunday lunch omens was great and had a lot of dietary variety. I'm not keen on places that are too fancy - this place was just right.
There is parking down the side street of the restaurant and plenty of space in the car park.
Probably not ideal for children.

Little floor draft was solved by closing front door.
Music and ambiance was lacking. Could hardly hear the music, needs to be louder so you can’t hear other peoples conversations.
An open fire was not lit... (would have been nice to be 🔥)
No terrace (but opening soon I’m told)
When you compare to other top class 4 & 5 star places then the Food and wine can be better for the prices. (£250 for 3 courses for 3 people with bottle of English Wine)

Overall enjoyed it and recommend it, we will be back to try again soon, I just feel they really need to up there game and work much harder to really make it successful especially at these prices.

Really amazing fresh food and a great atmosphere. The steak is quite pricey, but the rest of the meals on the lunch menu are a good price for the standard of restaurant.
The staff were really friendly, professional and attentive.
I would be happy to return at some point to try out their dinner menu.
As always, Churches Mansion never fails to produce fantastic meals, atmosphere, cocktails and bloody amazing staff! Our works meal was a fabulous affair with all staff being super attentive and helpful. I absolutely adore this place and cannot wait to come back xx
Delicious Sunday roast. It's located in a fun 500 year old house.
Had my daughters bridal shower here, 9 people having afternoon tea and drinks. Had a lovely room which they let us decorate, beautiful food, served by attentive staff. Highly reccomed. The perfect atmospheric place to hold a private gathering
Better than you imagine. Attentive, not overbearing. Staff are extremely friendly, relaxed, and professional. Excellent food. Very reasonable and just a lovely place to dine. A must try and a must return soon place! Thank you for a most enjoyable lunch. X
Been meaning to write a review for ages... this place is stunning and so are the owners, staff and food.
Sophia and the team have an incredible job as custodians of such a beautiful and historic building and throughout lockdown they have shown strength and resilience beyond measure to keep it open and thriving. It was the only place we had takeaway from during lockdown, I think it was about 8 times in the end- amazing fish and chips.
We were delighted to be able to eat in properly and each time the food and service has been perfect
The menu is exquisite, wonderful fusions of flavours and presented like a piece of art!
The 7 course tasting menu that should have been our NYE celebration, took place in May after lockdown and it was stunning and a much needed very special treat for my husband and I.
I want to get there at lunchtime and enjoy the beautiful garden before the end of the summer!
