Food was very nice, pub didn’t look like a pub from the front as there was no signage? Short walk from the camp site was worth it. Drink was a little expensive, red wine £8.40 a large glass
This English Pub Is modern, inviting and filled with paintings photos memorabilia and books making it stand apart from other pubs. The food is tasteful, and offers selected items. Not the usual run of the mill cuisine. Besides, it also serves vegan, gluten free options too. Above all, it’s dog fr
Just visited the Swan for the first time. What an outstanding experience: great setting and decor, great ambiance, superb food and very attentive service without being overbearing. Great French wine sourced and blended by the Swan itself. Tables not crammed together like many places. Roaring fire. W
Just spent a lovely lunchtime at The Swan. Fish and chips, sticky toffee pudding/apple crumble and a bottle of pinot....perfect! Lovely atmosphere, good service. We'll definitely be back 🙂
What a great pub! A group of 6 of us visited on Saturday while on a camping trip at nearby Ryebank Adventures. The owner Ed recommended The Swan. We were very glad he did. Excellent food, great atmosphere, really switched on friendly staff and lovely and warm! An extremely pleasant way to spend a ra
Food is superb, staff very friendly and great selection of local cheeses. Food presentation is on point, rump of lamb was splendid!
Lovely pub, great decor, friendly efficient staff. Food is exceptional, fresh and flavoursome with good choices if you don’t eat meat. Dog friendly.
Delicious food and a delightful menu. So many pubs simply follow a formula with their menus, not The Swan. So many interesting dishes feature on their menu eg. The game suet pudding and the sticky pork cheek in the photos. They were perfectly cooked. To top it all the staff were efficient but warm a
Absolutely the best Sunday roast. I always have grand ideas of trying other things on the menu but can't get past the roast. It's Absolutely amazing. The staff are great and can't do enough for you. We travel quite far to come as its just so good.
Friendly and inviting staff make the experience all the more pleasant. Good menu with food served promptly and piping hot. Splendid selection of beers on tap and a varied range of wines and spirits also available. All moderately priced. Ample parking and free WiFi. Oh and very dog friendly!
Lovely country pub with super food and a nice selection of drinks. They were really accommodating when we turned up without a reservation, not realising how popular it is! So try to book if you want to go, it gets filled up especially for their Sunday roasts (which are delicious!)
Went on a walk around Marbury and ended up here. Great selection of beers, attentive staff and excellent food. A wonderful end to a pleasurable stroll. Will definitely be back.
Great service, beer, and food only spoilt by the miserly portion....... I paid £26.50 for duck breast as a main course and only got two slices...about a third to a half of a duck breast. I can buy a large duck breast in any supermarket for £7. I don't mind paying top dollar for great pub food but I
The great British Pub (2020s style) as it should be - warm, relaxed service, super beer (and house blended wines), super food and super ambiance. Dog friendly and a great outdoor space if the weather is good. If the weather is bad you wont be disappointed by the interior space either. It's spacious
We went for dinner with some friends who were passing on the nearby canal. We have walked by before but never in. That was a mistake, what a great place. Dinner was lovely. I am Gluten intolerant and they catered for that in a friendly and professional manner. The GF choice isn't huge but should sui
An amazing friendly pub. Relaxing atmosphere. Very welcoming to children and dogs. Varied menu with traditional pub food but also seasonal dishes. Absolutely delicious. We loved the whole experience.
