Went for a drive to Nairn and this was the only chippy open. Wasn’t expecting much but had the NICEST fish and chips I’ve tasted. The guy behind the counter even came out to give another group of customers a free cooked sausage for their dog. Brilliant! Highly recommend and would return in an instant. Fantastic experience.
We went on Saturday evening to treat ourselves to a takeaway. It was very busy but there was plenty of staff working, so we didn't wait long.
Staff were all polite and welcoming. The food was lovely, fresh and cooked to order. My daughters had chicken nugget suppers and I had a battered sausage supper. The portion sizes were good and it was around £21 for the three suppers, whichbi think it's quite good value.

Ordered double cheese burger but they forgot the cheese. Burgers were tasty but dry.
Good portions, and the chips were tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered a veggie burger but was confused when it was an indian spiced one. The only sauce on offer for the burger was mayo which was a shame.
Portion of chips was decent, maybe more so on the smaller side. But they were cooked very well and delicious! Would definitely recommend
Very generous portion of fish and this was 2 thick succulent pieces of haddock in a crispy batter with chips and a side order of mushy peas. Wonderful. Just what I had been craving. My partner had a cheese burger which he really enjoyed. The burger was a nice hefty size with melted cheese, lettuce and a tasty burger sauce. We hope to return soon!
Well staffed and prompt service. Good chips and I got a lovely piece of fish. Plenty free parking nearby.

Only gave 4 stars as a few of our chips were hard / not cooked through.

Fancied a cheeky Friday fish supper and decided to try here. Best fish we've had in ages. Fresh, falling apart and great batter. Chips were decent too. Service was quick and staff great too. Highly recommend and a firm fave with us now. 👏

After checking out the many chip shops in the area we decided on the Dolphin and what an excellent choice we made. the fish was delicious and the chips were just about cooked to perfection, the missis and kids had the chips and sausage with curry sauce (curry sauce was sooo nice) And they were equally as happy with the food
We were so impressed with the food and service we popped back in to personally to let them know on our way for desert 😊
