New chef now In the pub and the food is absolutely top notch , I had my daughters 18th party there and the owner Wendy went out of her way to make it a special night , food was fantastic, highly recommended this wee gem in Fishertown 10/10 top notch hosts and extremely professional and friendly staff a great addition to our town x
Very welcoming bar couldn't ask for more polite bunch of staff, food is amazing all cooked to order so well worth the wait you'd expect for fresh cooked food. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a homely place to eat or drink!

My wife and I are literally still sitting at our table after enjoying a lovely meal. Very spicy chicken was superb as was the deserts. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and we would certainly recommend this establishment for a meal. Many thanks.
Fantastic pub!! Absolutely delicious food!! Highly recommend the chicken and haggis dirty fries with whisky cream sauce!! Pool table was in the best condition of any pub pool table I've ever used and the service staff were friendly and energetic!! Could not recommend enough!!
On holiday in Nairn and discovered Jackos. What a great friendly pub with a lovely atmosphere and decent food. The staff were great and very attentive. We are only here 4 nights but will return!
Returning here for food for the second year. Went for a family meal, 6 of us, absolutly great! Just happened to be steak night too, bonus! So the daily specials board was wasted on us. 3 sirloins cooked to how we preferred at a generous £9.99 each. I have to say, the peppercorn sauce was one of the best I have ever had. The Mrs had fish and chips which looked just as good as the steak. The children had the Kids Chicken Nuggets with chips and the opted for beans. We all cleared the lot, even the children, and they can be particularly fussy with food, but their plates too were clean. Most opted for Hot Fudge Cake for dessert, I had vanilla ice cream and cream, yummy. One of us had apple pie and custard. Again clean plates! A lovely meal and we would definitely return. I do believe they are in the process of having a menu update, even more reason to return. All in all, 6 very good meals and desserts with no faults. Staff were very pleasant and the waiting time next to none. Thank you :)
Another great evening at Jackos. Our favourite place to come when we visit Nairn and a good catch up with the locals who make us feel like one of them.

Possibly one of the best, friendliest welcomes and service I've ever had in bar... And I've been in a few... Food was pretty good... Chicken and Veggie curries went down very well!
We visited Jackos by chance as we were walking past from the harbour. During the day, whilst quieter, this didn't inhibit the atmosphere at all. We were promptly welcomed by the staff who were friendly and attentive, offering a choice of tables. The menu is broad but not too big to help with making a decision. We got there just before the 3pm switch from lunch to evening meals, but both menus looked delicious. I chose the haggis and cheese ciabatta, and I was not disappointed. It was gorgeous. I added some curly fries to share with the table, and these are a great addition. We enjoyed two bottles of prosecco as we were celebrating a friend's hen do. The bill was so reasonable for the 4 of us and 2 bottles of plonk. I would definitely recommend a visit to Jackos. You will be looked after, and the food is awesome. Don't walk, run there. I can't wait to be home again to go back.
100% better than when the previous owners had it. First time I’ve been back in 10 years due to the last lot. Food excellent, staff great, toilets spotless. Highly recommended.
Came all the way from Australia to try the famous Jackos and we weren't disappointed. Had a fab meal during the day and fun pub games in the evening. Chef/Owner ( we think) made us an excellent meal, while our server bar man made great drinks and conversation. Dog friendly was a bonus.
My partner and I popped in for a quick nightcap after a day of exploring the Isle of Skye and shopping in Inverness. We just wanted a drink before calling it a night and wandered down to Jackos. It was a really cute place with super friendly service. We had a really good time talking to the bartender and a local. Perfect evening!
