Good pub menu, with a lot of local specials.
It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for and you pay for quality. The food is well cooked and really flavoursome.
We went on a Friday lunchtime having booked, it was a good job we did, it was full, that tells you all you need to know
Stopped for lunch but did call the evening before for reservations. This was by far my favorite restaurant during a week in Scotland for the combination of food and atmosphere. The food was outstanding; I highly recommend saving room for dessert. I had the Scottish Smoked Cheddar open face sandwich, hot chocolate and raspberry brulee. My fellow diners enjoyed the fruit tart and meringue tower.
Fresh food and great service. We stopped with our tour guide and he suggested the sish and chips and they were good. Had the Scottish cheese fires and a flight of beer all was great. Good service fair price and many great memories inside of the area and place. They have some beer to go. We loved this off the beating path place. We would go back
