Great spot for meal all year long. Great atmosphere with a lovely view of the lake. This place is quite popular so I would recommend to make reservation before you visit.

Took my date here for our first date last Wednesday and came back today. Although that says a lot on its own... The location by the lake is lovely, the interior decor is awesome and the staff are lovely... Especially Audrey our waitress who even wrote a goodbye message on the receipt and was extremely spooked when I said her name 😂 anyway on top of this the food was excellent and the apple crumble tart was 👌 I highly recommend this place and it's easily the best place I've eaten in the local area.

Really enjoyed our dinner here, the setting is lovely, really well laid out and feels really cozy and such an interesting decoration. The waitstaff were fabulous and really nice and the restaurant was super busy yet you didn't feel ignored at all, the food was great, generous portions and tasty! Loved the roast and such a wise range of choice on the menus too! Highly recommend to visit.

Eaten here a number of times and the food has always been good. Service has been quite fast even when it's been full. The restaurant is very quirky, especially the toilets! It has always had a nice atmosphere with often some quite large groups celebrating something or other. My only complaint came from my last visit when we were told there wasn't an allergen menu. One member of the team said they could check individual items but then couldn't explain whether dishes did or may contain the ingredients we were questioning. And that does make a big difference. Seems very unusual in this day and age not to have an allergen menu. Aside from that, it's worth a visit. Plenty of parking too.

Massive shout out to Callie who sorted our table with very short notice! We were welcomed by Ed who said he would look after us during our meal, safe to say he went over and above to make us laugh all evening and provide an excellent service. Everyone around our table were saying how lovely Ed was and he really made the evening for everyone he served. Thank you Ed, we will be back - solely from the service you provided😄

Visited 30/05-18.Such a lovely looking place... a shame the food was sooooooo slow to be delivered. Had a burger that was so overcooked...was like a heavy rock in my stomach. The chips was nice. Not worth the price what so ever. A thick burger can NOT be that overcooked..it gets extremely dry, and impossible to digest and chew. Not impressed. Had Tiramisu. That was decent, but the coffee came half hour after dessert, even though ordered same time. Makes no sense, so we cancelled the coffee eventually. Will come back for a drink some day, as it was such a pretty building and decor, but will not eat again. If a place is going to attempt to cook and sell "gourmet" food, better do it right, or might as well serve pizza. I would most likely love to eat a pizza there..just not their poorly attempt on fancy food.

The place was very busy when we arrived and we were told our food may be delayed a bit. As it turned out the food was brought to us in good time and it was nice and hot! We had the sharing platter first then Steak with triple cooked chips and various puddings to finish. The food was excellent as always and served by our waitress with a cheerful face and a smile! We always get good service here and would recommend it to all our friends.

We had a lovely meal there. I can highly recommend the Asian salad. My other half had the lasagna and also really enjoyed it. My son had spaghetti and it was a huge portion for kids, so you get your monies worth there. The service was great and the staff were friendly and really great towards our son. Definitely going back.

Wonderful location and surroundings, so comfortable inside and the staff are so friendly and go out of their way for you. I would recommend this place to anybody and everybody: you've got to go there! The food was exceptional too, by the way! Great place, loved everything about it ♡

Lovely ambience overlooking the lake. Clean and friendly helpful staff. Even had a vegan option! :) But can we please have more vegan options for the whole menu included dessert and dairy-free milk like oat, coconut... Then I would happily give you 5 stars!

After taling part in the watersports next door we decided to grab a bite to eat in the Kingfisher On The Quays. We were seated straight away despite it being a very sunny and busy day! We didn't fancy a big meal and were just looking for a lightish lunch. Our waitress suggested ordering a number of "light bites" from the menu and due to the offer being 4 for £21.95 we decided to do just that. The waitress suggested it may not be enough for the four f us so we added some see orders too. The food came relatively quickly considering how busy it was. The food was delicious and was the perfect amount for the four of us. We paid he bull which we found very reasonable and left. In all the service was good, the food was excellent and th vibe in the restaurant was very cool and relaxed. I will most definitely be returning! :-P

Food great, and a varied menu so you can always have something different. Great service from cheerful staff, and a cabaret on the lake (water skiers falling off) when its sunny.

Had to wait an hour and half for food today, told kitchen was short staffed but not warned on arrival. Wasn’t relaxing with “hangry” boys. Probably just our bad luck. Food was nice when it came and waitress was lovely.

A warm welcome on entering The Kingfisher and shown immediately to our table for five. Didn’t feel rushed at all and extremely patient with our party while sampling the free tasters of the Mcmullens ale. The service was effortless and not intrusive. We enjoyed the excellent food and atmosphere. I would highly recommend this establishment.
