We loved visiting Kaffeine for breakfast. The staff are so welcoming, the range of food is fantastic and it’s all freshly made. The coffee was fantastic and beautifully presented.
The location is perfect and easy to get to with plenty of free parking nearby.
It can get busy at popular times but it’s not a big issue. I think a takeaway window would be great for those who don’t need to come inside.
Can’t wait to visit again. We’ll be recommending it to our friends and family in the Musselburgh and Inveresk area.
Really nice place. Great service and lovely food. I would definitely revisit this cafe if l was back in the area.

One of the most amazing , well balanced , with an large pallet of flavours , and obviously very well executed ! Whoever put that menu together he knows a lot , also the complexity of flavours been overwhelmingly nice .
I say all those words as an ex chef also an cafe Chef / Owner for more the. 12 years .

Excellent stop for coffee - really good options for breakfast. Had the vegetarian haggis which was really 👍🏻
Been there twice now and fantastic good both times, ordered the Turkish breakfast while the rest of my group got their usual stuff, server apologised that it takes a bit longer to make but I could see why and it was well worth the wait, delicious wee selection that felt a lot healthier than a standard English breakfast, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice lunch in Musselburgh.
Cracking wee place for lunch, very tasty and quick service. Always helps when eating out with kids. Would recommend the chicken vegetable soup

Excellent cafe, delicious food, great service with very friendly staff. I have ordered the Avocado Halloumi Toast and it was delicious and very well presented. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stop off for breakfast or lunch!
