This brand new pub restaurant in the city centre of Musselburgh is such a good news! Cosy, elegant, with an amazing beer garden to spend hours in the sun and chill out on Sunday afternoon! Food very good, especially the Musselburger!!!
Popped in for a quick bite at dinner time. Had a lovely meal, the New York Deli bun was delicious, the brisket so well cooked. Swapped out standard chips for the truffle fries and did not regret it, they were so tasty.
It's great that I can bring my dog in too, he was given his own water bowl.

Visted with my husband on his birthday on a visit to Scotland ,trendy place go , good selection of beers. Had IPA battered haddock and I can't remember the last time I've had fish and chips as good as that , it's well worth a visit one not to be missed.
Excellent food in a bar/grill with a wide selection of wines, beers, spirits and cocktails making for a great atmosphere, albeit a little noisy and service is slightly slow. The cherry on top is that they're dog friendly.
A great addition to musselburgh. Really needs more places like it. Small menu, but good food. The setting was ambient and clean. Lovely size beer garden out back. Again clean and fresh. The staff were friendly and service was good. Will definitely return.
Nice place for lunch. Small but very interesting menu with locally sourced produce and a good selection of drinks including mocktails.

Food is excellent, currently limits menu, but what's on offer suits most tastes. Nothing marked with allergens but staff always happy to check and even modify dishes.
Small outside eating area with partial cover. Lots of indoor seating.
Highly recommended.
Agree with other reviews that it's pretty expensive, but arguably this keeps the riff raff out and adds a bit of class to Musselburgh.
Would like to see a bit more draft craft beer selection and maybe a quid off the pint prices. Food is good, look forward to more selection going forward.

I really liked this place on the two occasions I have been. It is pricey compared to most other places in Musselburgh but it is really nice inside, got a good selection of drinks and a good beer garden out the back. They also have good covid protocols and table service. Can't comment on the food as

Really really good food. Limited menu, and great atmosphere and staff. I've only had fish and chips that good a few times in my life.
Great spot, trendy vibes but not pretentious. Friendly staff, good food, GREAT beer garden. A pint might cost you a little more than most but worth it I reckon!
Dropped on for a snack, and pleasantly surprised - nice food, polite and friendly staff. And it's much larger than it looks from the front. It was our first time in Musselburgh, but we'll certainly come back to the Muss Bar.
Really nice little bar! Clean and well maintained, very friendly staff, and a nice quiet beer garden to have a few beers in the sun late in the afternoon. Food was good too. I will be coming back!
