Great stop over, great food, good selection on the bar. The staff were friendly and the local drinkers welcoming. The warm fire made for a lovely pub going experiance. Parking isn't as bad as you think if your staying over as there is extra space around the back. Breakfast was good with a nice selection to choose from. For the price, it's a great value place to stay. Can't find fault with it at all.

Had a fantastic week at The Crown. Fantastic Rooms, friendly helpful staff, amazing food and set in a lovely rural area. Perfect for our base all week. Lovely open fires in both bars too. We had Bed, Breakfast, evening meal and a packed lunch, even on the day of our departure. The packed lunches alone were brilliant! Not a single complaint from our clients all week. Can't recommend this place enough! We will be back same time next year!

Had an amazing 3 course meal here. Everything is locally sourced and prepared fresh daily. Multiple menu options, there is something for everyone. Excellent value too, very happy with the bill at the end of the evening.

A lovely hotel connected to the pub. The hotel as adjacent to the pub with its own entrance. The room I had was a family suite with two bedrooms, a main bathroom and an additional toilet. A very generous sized room with a sofa, writing desk and a slay bed. Very clean and airy, the only one thin missing is a mirror in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and there was even a fridge un the room. The pub itself had two bars down stairs and a restaurant upstairs. The smaller bar has a huge collection of good whisky, open fire and is good to sit and eat. The food was reasonably priced and my chicken Korma was tasty. Breakfast is an offering of cereals or a full English. For the price I paid, it is good value for money, in a lovely location and the staff are very welcoming and friendly.

We stayed here two years ago on a birthday break for my wife and really enjoyed our stay. This time, it was for a coffee en route to N. Norfolk, where we stopped for lunchtime coffee and sandwiches. Lovely and warm next yo log fire on a cold New Year's Eve along with good coffee and tasty sandwiches. Reasonably priced.

Great place to eat. We were 5 adults, 4 dogs and a toddler,! absolutely no problem with us all piling in. The service was excellent, paper and pen for the toddler, didn't wait long for the food which was hot and tasty.

Stopped by on the way back from Norfolk, looking for an early evening meal, and we were more than pleasantly surprised. Typically rustic village pub downstairs, popular with the locals of a Sunday night from what we could see, with restaurant seating upstairs in the hotel. Suffice to say the home made steak and ale pie was fantastic; top quality meat and lots of it, with plenty of veg, whilst the memsahib had the lasagne, again fantastic. Highly recommended.
