Had a really nice breakfast, good quality food, well presented, very tasty and all the girls were friendly and attentive, would definitely recommend to anyone.
Well worth a stop. We chanced on this place just as they were closing and they couldn't have been more welcoming. Our sandwiches and tea were perfect. We're visiting from overseas and this place added to our great English experience. Give them a try, you wont regret it.
What can I say?! What a lovely Sunday lunch we had yesterday. Staff lovely....especially the lady with the blonde hair (sorry I didn't catch her name) food....AMAZING....what a lovely place to eat! Very impressed with the comfy high chairs too, much better than the wooden ones you get in pubs, our toddler ate in comfort � We will be coming back and will bring others. Would highly recommend this lovely cafe-restaurant ��

Our second visit this time with our grandchildren nothing was too much trouble our grandaughter went off menu.Great food, helpful staff a lovely place to stop on way back or to Norfolk.

The food here is really delicious. I had a sausage and egg sandwich and the sausages were great. The eggs were done just right. The tea came in a nice pot. It was quite cheap considering how good it is. I also bought some chilli sauce which I've not tried yet.
First time stopped hear. Found it to be pleasant with a selection of cafe food and a Sunday lunch of chicken which we didn’t have, best to pre order. Just had a drink and toasted sandwich. Tables were well spaced with quite a few people in. Some tables were reserved so it seems to be popular, service was good and friendly staff. Car parking good. Worth stopping if passing .
Whole crab on the specials board so easy to please the wife -cheese burger for myself -both very tasty -both good sized portions . Lovely staff to boot ! Easy to recommend here -worth the travel if near !
Very accommodating! We turned up at the start of the lunch menu with breakfast on our minds, luckily the member of staff Kate and the chef were both excellent and agreed to cook 2 more breakfasts, just for us. To top if of the breakfast itself was excellent and well presented. Will definitely be returning soon and will definitely be recommending. They even gave the dog a treat!

Lovely little café. Really grateful menu on offer, with fab food. Only stopped for a scone and a cup of tea but the food coming out for late brunch looked wonderful. Plenty of people in there and great atmosphere. Would recommend.
Great cafe, 11 of us Walden Bikers turned up just before 11.30. The host organised us some tables and allowed us to order breakfasts which normally end at 11.30.
Breakfast was delicious and hot as was the coffee. The staff were very pleasant. Highly recommend this cafe.
Amazing cafe! We had a sausage and egg sandwich which was delicious, eggs done perfectly! Staff are really lovely, hard working and very accommodating. Really nice to be able to see into the kitchen which looked so clean, chef does an amazing job! It got super busy as we were leaving so maybe best to book ahead on weekends. We are not local but staying locally for the weekend. Hopefully be back soon!

Excellent breakfast here. Lovely friendly, welcoming staff. Talked to my children, not at them. Food was pipping hot and delicious. Good sized portion too. Nice hubbub/atmosphere, not too noisy.

The outdoor seating area, while charming, does overlook the street. This could be a slight drawback for those looking for a quiet outdoor experience as traffic noises are unavoidable. However, if the hustle and bustle of city life doesn't bother you, the outdoor seating could be a nice way to enjoy your coffee and cake.
Overall, I'd give Browns Café a well-deserved four-star rating. With its stylish décor, friendly staff, and delicious cakes, it's an excellent café choice. The only minor drawback is the street-side location of the outdoor seating, but that's easily overlooked for the café's other merits. Highly recommended for a quick stop-over or a casual meet-up!

Browns is our 'local' and that we only live a few miles away and so come here quite often and every time it's the staff as well as the food that keeps us coming back.
The staff are always really friendly and really helpful, but not too friendly to distract from the food, which is also wonderful.
They've recently changed their menu, and although the offering is a little bit more limited than it used to be (no more burgers) the food that is now on the menu it's just as good if not better. The staff also said that they'll be changing their menu more regularly which is also great because it keeps regulars like myself coming back.
An easy 5* Cafe
Popped in wearing biker gear, they didn't mind at all. Got me a table, I'd recommend the BBQ chicken toastie with skinny fries! Service was great, kind, courteous, attentive and a very pleasant atmosphere there with the golden oldies music too. Was a lovely experience, would recommend.
After a walk we decided to grab a bite. We saw some amazing reviews on Google so gave it a go. The atmosphere is really nice and the staff are very friendly. The food was amazing and honestly priced. If your in the area I recommend going here. We sat on the decking under the shelter and watched all the people coming and going. Great little spot 👌🏻 thanks again for a lovely food stop. 😁
Finally stopped to sample a fry up as passed so many times whilst working delivering cars about. Top place with helpful, friendly attentive staff and the grub was tip top, looking forward to being out that way again to sample more from the menu!
Food is s very good. Plenty of space to sit too.
The only thing was the server was a bit frosty. Not sure why. It's a shame because it really let's a place down when servers aren't pleasant.
Other than that give it a try. Food brilliant.
I always stop here for brunch after taking my dog for a walk in the forest. The staff are lovely, the food is delicious, and the coffee is amazing. Cannot recommend enough!
