Went to Cafe Valance with a friend for the Tapas Evening, WOW! As well as the regular tapas menu, there was a Specials Board. Excellent choice of dishes 3 for £9 99 We had 6 dishes between us and they were absolutely delicious and loads to eat. We had Spanish Omelette, Cod Goujons, Tempura Prawns with Chilli Dip, Mixed Bruschetta with Cheese and Meats, Three Bean Chilli with Cheesy Tacos and Chicken and Chorizo. All very tasty. The batter on the cod and prawns was light and crispy. Service was excellent, lovely, friendly staff. Would definitely recommend Cafe Valance

Fantastic experience in Cafe Valance. Lovely staff. Fab food. I live across the road, so it is so handy for me if I dont feel like cooking to nip in for one of their fab meal deals. Having a curry and drink there as I write this. Which was gorgeous. Much better than I could have got with a takeaway and a bargain when you consider the quality. Also live music on my doorstep every weekend. Can't fault it! I'm also a dog walker/sitter and they are very dog friendly. Always greeted with water and a treat when they come in.

As a new mum who is breastfeeding it can be scary breastfeeding in public. The staff in this cafe were so helpful providing me with a glass of water and serving me a cup of tea even though they were about to close. They waited until I finished breastfeeding before locking up the cafe. Thank you so much. I will be recommending this cafe to everyone I know xx
Visited Cafe Valance mainly because it's Dog friendly.
Lovely atmosphere there, very hospitable staff - got a bowl of water for my dog without being asked.
I had Chicken salad and baked potato, which was lovely and reasonably priced.
Will return again.

I visited Cafe Valance last week with a friend and how i have not been there before is crazy. Had one of the best Coffee's Ive had for a long while with a great friendly atmosphere. the owner even had a chat with us which gave that special touch.
Anyone looking for a coffee, cake or even some food at a good price take a walk up the hill by Oystermouth Castle and pop to Cafe Valance. FANTASTIC PLACE.

An excellent lunch of Chicken, bacon and avocado wrap. Chicken flavour was devine & out extra salad complemented our choice for lunch. Will certainly visit Cafe Valance again.

Fantastic food! One of the tastiest lunches my partner and I have had in a while! We had paninis and a large selection of the pastries - so good! Highly recommended. Staff were lovely and friendly too!
Superb café/bar a short way up from the water front. Sunday was fun day tapas style dishes, excellent value for money (bigger mains avaliable too) and delicious. Classy cup of coffee and friendly staff to boot.
Lovely place to have a drink or food. Very friendly staff who are always serve you with a smile and make you feel welcome. Highly recommend this bar/restaurant.

great staff and dog friendly. always make a visit here if I'm ever in the Mumbles with the pooch. even give out hot water bottles and a blanket which is a nice touch
