We booked three rooms for two nights. From the moment we walked in we were treated right. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The beer was well kept and clear. Our room was compact and bijou, but it was exactly what we expected, a bedroom with an en-suite ....and we had a sea view....some distance away but definitely a sea view. We had booked a meal for 6 for that night. The waitress was very helpful and took our order from the comfy sofa area and agreed to call us when dinner was ready. I was a little disappointed that they ran out of steaks on a Thursday night, but the scampi I ordered was well cooked and there was plenty. The dessert menu didn't have anything that really shouted at me but I went for the jam sponge with custard which was lovely...hubby had the cheese board which was all Cornish cheeses and he could not have been happier. Breakfast...from the menu it looked massive, but when it arrived it was plenty to eat. Cooked lovely and fresh and hot, which is the best thing. The coffee was fantastic and the landlady and landlord who cooked & served both days...were really friendly and couldn't have been more helpful! All in all a lovely pub/hotel and if they hadn't have all their rooms booked we would have stayed the extra night... It doesn't look that fantastic from outside but it's a really great place and hopefully we will be back xx

We have just had a fantastic meal out with friends at The Mounts Bay Inn . The whole place is finished to a very high standard , the staff are friendly and very efficient. Our Meals were second to non and can highly recommend you visit either just for a drink or for a wonderful meal! The menu has something for everyone and very reasonably priced. Thank you to Cherly and Peter and your fantastic staff they are a credit to you.

Very welcoming atmosphere. Staff were very friendly, attentive service during the meal without being overbearing. The food was excellent, so much so we went back the following two nights, and were just as impressed. Good selection of beers, wines and Tarquins, my wife's new favourite tipple. Prices are very reasonable and menu choices varied, although fish dishes are dependent upon local catches. Highly recommended, will definitely be taking the occasional day trip to eat there again.

Stayed there last night, Hotel and food was great value , and very friendly service, restaurant was nicely decorated, food all freshly cooked and beautifully presented. Only thing I assumed by photos was that the sea was a lot closer than what it actually was ,but still a good place to stay

We had our wedding reception at The Mounts Bay and honestly couldn't have asked for more!! They were super amazing, the food was absolutely gorgeous, the decor and the staff were all so so great!!! Our day was so special, and don't think it would've been half as special without the part that Cheryl, Peter and the team played. Couldn't recommend them highly enough!! Thank you all for helping make our day extra special and perfect xxxxxx
