We were recommended this place as somewhere to come that accepts dogs and it was so much more than that. The atmosphere was lovely and cosy and we found a nook by the fireplace with some books that the kids read whilst we settled the dog. We were greeted by the staff who took the time to chat to us about the dog and explained the menu. The food was amazing, presented well and delicious. The garlic bread was the best I'd ever had ! All of us felt so at home and it really made our trip. Thanks so much for having us.

Ok.. it was a Saturday evening, no cooked food ,which seems to be the norm in Ludlow after 8pm.. however there were sandwiches. And great beer and friendly folk .. with wonderful service

Had an excellent Sunday lunch (for 11 of us including 4 children), combined with great friendly service from Millie, Alfie and Jodie in a wonderful old pub....what’s not to like!...we all had a brilliant time and will be back again soon. Definitely recommended.

This pub was my regular when I lived locally, but I hadn't been for a couple of years. We went on Saturday with my husband, mum and 2 kids (4 and 2) and were given a really warm welcome by Ben and the team. They were so helpful and very patient with the kids! Food was excellent with very generous portions (try the buttermilk chicken burger) and plenty of choice on draught. Well worth a visit for a cosy lunch!

Always have a meal and a pint when I'm here on holiday. Lovely food, well presented and served, great atmosphere very friendly pub, staff and customers reasonable prices, fully recommend it. It's always busy which speaks for its self, and very dog friendly.

Town centre pub with dining. Front bar looked very crowded but there was a quieter area, better for eating, further back. Service was surprisingly prompt and attentive, seeing how busy they seemed to be. Food was good. Dog friendly. You might be lucky to park nearby in the evening, but I used the Priory car park.

Stopped in with my partner for dinner on the first night of a getaway. After a long journey, the George and Dragon was the perfect place for a quiet meal. The pub is cosy, inviting, and warm, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We were lucky enough to stop in on pasta and pizza night, and had a great lasagne and tortellini as well as a decadent syrup sponge for dessert. The pizza selection was surprisingly good for a pub and there's definitely something for everyone! As a real ale lover, the beer selection is great as well and they even managed to find some pear cider for my partner. Would highly recommend for dinner and we will definitely be back when we come back to the area.
