Visiting this cafe was the primary reason for visiting Mousehole and it didn't disappoint. It's a family run cafe with the old lady handling all matters at the front - managing customer seating, helping with the menu, helping with and taking meal orders and bill payments, all with a smile. We were full when we visited but couldn't resist a slice of cake with coffee. Had the Dundee cake which came recommended and the tea cake both of which were amazing and tasted fresh and delicious. The tea cake was toasted perfectly and was perfect with butter and a pot of tea. The cafe decor is old school and is kept very clean. Depending on how busy it gets and what you offer, you might have to wait a bit to be seated and get your food as it's prepared fresh. Our visit to Mousehole for this was worth it.

This was by far one of the best experiences of our trip to England. Gail and Anton have perfected the “mom and pop” cafe. He is the chef and she is the front of the business. While we were there she taught us how to properly eat scones the Cornish way, “jam before cream!” and we had the best homemade fish pie. If you’re traveling around the southwest, don’t miss this amazing shop, we can’t recommend it highly enough.

Popped in here with our 3 dogs whilst revisiting old childhood holiday haunts. They where so accommodating and very dog friendly. The Cream tea was gorgeous, excellent value for money, all home made to, the lady who runs it is an absolute tonic, so funny, super friendly and generally a born entertainer. Made us all so welcome, cant recommend highly enough, and all food was perfect, tasty and made on premises, go you won't be disappointed 5* from us.

What a lovely café! from the moment we entered we were made so welcome and at home. We had a bacon sandwich and a cream tea, nothing was too much trouble when we asked for no butter on the sandwich and coffee with my cream tea (the coffee was the best I’d tasted all weekend). The bacon was top quality and on lovely fresh bread. The cream tea was presented beautifully and tasted Devine. The lovely lady there checked everything was ok and asked if we would like our tea topping up. We came out feeling we’d had a real treat. Thank you so much 😊

Came here earlier and genuinely one of the most lovely places in the whole of Cornwall. Best scone of my life! Freshly baked and still warm. Lady who ran it was absolutely amazing, so welcoming and accommodating for both my 2 year old and my parents dog. Would recommend to anyone visiting nearby!

The best place in Mousehole! The staff are very friendly and the food was outstanding! We went for something traditional, scones with Cornish cream and fish and chips. The scones and the cod were so fresh. High quality and really recommended!

Amazing cafe, with an amazing host. I real little jem on all accounts, beautiful cornish cream tea with homemade scones that are light and moorish. A varied menu with plenty to choose from. Lovely little themed cafe well worth a visit. Level entrance for easy accessibility and plenty of space outside for a mobility scooter or 2.
