Restaurant is currently closed but ordered for pick up & was delighted that we've found a local Indian restaurant that provides excellent food.
Orders their "All Day Special" which included spiced onions, 2 x poppadoms, garlic naan (upgrade from plain), chicken chaat & 2 curries with a single portio
Had the buffet here on the 23rd Dec. Food was THE best Indian buffet food I've ever had. Curries were tasty and delicious, the homemade curry is to die for!! t
The service was warm and friendly making you feel so welcome. Please don't go anywhere else!
First vist to this lovely restaurant. We ate from.the buffet and had a really lovely meal. Food was excellent and the staff were lovely and made us feel so welcome. We were a group of 6 looking for a decent meal before heading into Glasgow for a concert. First time at the Shalimar and food was of a very high standard, excellent,friendly attentive staff , I unfortunately live in England but will pay this establishment another visit on my return.Still awaiting dr
I went in for the first time on Friday night .the place was empty still not got alcohol licence due to some local problium .but all other shops have licences to sell some thing is going on in the back ground .
I can't say anything necitive about the food .it's all great very spicy

Brilliant - restaurant quality food at take-away prices. Ordered pakora, chaat, lamb Kashmir and chicken makhani massala with Chapattis and Saffron rice and it was ace. Can't wait to try the buffet and the Family Feast in the restaurant itself.
Just had my first delivery from this shop. Got the Mixed King Kebab with a portion of chicken tikka pakora. Best kebab I've ever had!!! You've tried the rest, Now try the Best!!! There's a new Champ in town!!!

Had 3 visits. One when the buffet was on and twice when buffet came to table. Staff very friendly and food is delicious and great value for money. No alcohol licence was available but the food is too good to miss.
Ive ate in many Indians and this is in the top ten .But certainly the best Indian restaurant and take away in its area . Staff are friendly ,food is excellent. Ali is so Helpful and always goes around offering extra dishes to try .

Just got my first takeaway from here. Best curry I have had in years. Cooked to perfection with good fresh ingredients. Will always go here from now on

Fantastic food and well priced. Not sure if it has whatever license is required for selling alcohol or bring your own booze, but greatly enjoyed the food.
Eat here all the time as quality of food is fresh and outstanding and staff bend over backwards to make you feel welcome and always bring wee sneaky food to try to the table..it's fabulous and scrumptious x
Really lovely meal and staff really couldn't do enough. Highly recommend and remember to take your own drink. X
