We went for lunch on a Thursday, the pub is lovely inside. We ordered the light lunch , 3 courses for £14 which was great value. I had breaded mushrooms to start followed by fish and chips then crumble and custard. Delicious. Hopefully they will speed up service with more staff but would definitely go back.

Great little pub with a nice atmosphere. Comfy and relaxed with really friendly staff. The steak and ale pie was 1st class. My wife had the halloumi burger. We both loved the food, and the drinks were good too. Very reasonable prices and a good sized portion. Simple menu, but something for everyone. Would recommend and will call in again soon. Maybe we’ll have a walk around Uppermill one Sunday in autumn to build-up an appetite and then call in to try the roast dinner. Thanks Dysarts Arms! See you soon.

The food was very nice plenty of choice but it would be good if there was a more interesting choice of vegetarian options rather than the usual cheese and onion pie.

A proper pub with great beer (Robinson's Unicorn if you like your ales), the usual selection of lovely pub grub (plus some local specialities), and a cozy atmosphere. There's the main bar with bar stools around it, a few tables, a big TV (on silent whilst we were there), and a small restaurant area. The staff were also very friendly. We'll be going back!

Food was delicious, service was spot on and the place itself looks fantastic with its new makeover. Recommended

Always been a good place but recent refurbishment has made it a little larger and a little better.

Walked here for tea on Friday night while staying at the campsite down the road. We sat outside as it was very warm evening. The food was lovely. The only probis that the tables are not really big enough for 4 plates, so once we had the extra side order and drinks there was no space to move and so the sauce box and empty dishes had to go on the floor. The portions are very large and very good value. We enjoy it so much that we went back the next night but we sat indoors as there were 2 extra people so no way we could have sat outside.

This was a nice homely place. Does come across as more of a local pub than a restaurant. The staff where lovely and attentive and the food was ok.
