A lovely & unique cafe in the centre of Morpeth, delicious scones & cakes. I also love the choice of seating areas. Just like being on the Riviera and lovely staff, very friendly. I live on the riverbank in North Shields, but it's so worth the journey to Morpeth to visit the this pretty cafe.Patrica.x

We just had the best ever afternoon tea here. I can’t begin to describe how gorgeous the food was and so beautifully presented. I enjoyed every mouthful and brought quite a few bits home with me, i just couldn’t eat it all and that’s unusual for me! I would recommend this restaurant without a moment’s hesitation.

Lovely to sit in the outside part and enjoy the sun. Food was lovely and a unique way of making Iced Coffee as I've never had ice cream in it before. Loved it!!!!

Charles is amazing. As is Geoffrey the manager.. This restaurant is based on personalities. The menu needs to be improved and the workload.

Good little cafe with plenty options and with indoor and outdoor seating. It’s nice that they do half portions for those who don’t want to eat a large amount!

Unexpectedly very pleasant. garden seating area was lovely , probably because thankfully it was very sunny. They were fully booked for breakfast but still found a space for us, and in the prime seat :) staff were friendly (and that matters!). Breakfast was really nice. Possibly ordered too much, but it was well presented, and cooked right. Scones were delicious too. Overall very much lovely relaxing bank holiday breakfast.

It's been a while since we've been but it's our default place in Morpeth for coffee and lunch or as we did today coffee and afternoon cake. Dogs are welcome in the conservatory as ours was. Delicious fare and we'd forgotten about the rustic rarebit which is absolutely fabulous. Well worth a visit. Friendly staff too.

Had breakfast here this morning. Lovely seating areas. Service was a touch slow, and whilst pleasant could have been a bit cheerier (service for me is a big factor for choosing where to eat). Food tasty and well presented with a good choice. No dogs in the seating area thankfully, but they are allowed unfortunately (I'm a dog owner but against dogs in eateries).

Staff are always lovely LOVE the scones from here (I'm a huge scone fan and very picky). Today I had the Ham Broth served with their Cheese and Thyme scone... highly recommend both.

Visited for the first time yesterday as it was recommended as being 'Dog friendly'... We sat in the conservatory bit as we had our dogs with us. We were warmly greeted, and biscuits provided for the dogs! Food was freshly made and delicious- best cheese on toast ever! Place was spotless with a lovely clean toilet! We will be back to try the cakes!

A thriving busy cafe with a dog friendly section. Lovely home made food and cakes, and really friendly hard working staff. One of my favourite places to go to for coffee or a light meal. Fab!
