Food was fantastic! Service was good but seemed to slow down at the end. The way the tables are spread out is brilliant, lots of space. Nice beer, toilets were clean and tidy. Looking forward to the next visit!
We called in on a whim for early tea. It was pleasantly busy and had a nice vibe. The service was a little slow, but as I said it was busy. I ordered the Mountain of ribs, and it was a mountain! Lovely chips too.

Dined here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. My wife had the Beef and Ale pie and I had Lamb Koftas. Both meals were delicious.
The menu has a good range of meals at reasonable prices. Service was good with friendly staff.
Lovely pub with very good food. We went mid week at midday so it was fairly quiet hence the lower atmosphere rating.

After a day of heavy rain we just needed a place to sit, relax but most importantly... eat. Not being locals we had little idea where to go so literally ended up in the first place we saw, glad we did.

It’s located just 3mins from the town center but come with lots of parking space. The staff is friendly and helpful during our visit.
The food is well prepared, tasty and good portion for Sunday roast dinner. Very delicious and fresh Scottish mussels with chips. Would recommend and visit again

Food fabulous, six people, 4 different starters, 5 different main meals and every one was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Six very contented customers. Service was excellent and very comfortable surroundings.
First time visit with some friends. Went after nine so the place was almost empty. Service and beer etc was nice. We created are own atmosphere as there was 10 of us. Pleasant place to visit, we have heard it does lovely food at lunch time so will have to visit then, if can get in.
Popped in here after not being in for quite a few years and really enjoyed it. Generous portions of delicious food. Very nice indeed.
