The new menu was a pleasant surprise but even better was the food. The burgers were spectacular, the curry was delicious and whilst there was a bit of a wait for a table, there had just been a rugby match. To top it off, there was live music in the bar and a great atmosphere! Great pub grub on a Saturday night!
Lovely food and great play area for children, only downside is no kids menu but highly recommend the place
Went there for my birthday meal yesterday The carvery was spot on didn't dissapoint as I've worked in catering I know good food when I see and taste it everything was hot even the plates I could taste all the different flavours of the food no blandness... Good customer care highly recommended if its a last minute decision or not I'll definetly visit again along with friends

Went there for the first time today with the parents, such amazing food! Reasonably priced, polite and professional staff,Loved it! Would definitely come back and recommend others to visit!

This is the first time we have been,had a lovely meal,food was gorgeous and the staff were very friendly,all in all excellent place to come for a quiet drink and superb food.We are hoping to come here in September for a wedding meal with a few family members,will be lovely. :-)

Had some good food in here, it was better than expected, some really good pub food. Enjoyed the loaded fries the most and then had a pizza after and it was all really good!
Excellent halloumi burger and fries and fish n chips and mushy peas, lovely and hot and fresh tasting food. Onion rings and dessert delicious too. Nice surroundings too. Staff friendly. Service speedy. Good vegetarian choices.

Although they were very busy the welcome was warm and service efficient. Great value for money, the food was basic pub fare but delicious and exactly what was needed after a busy day sightseeing. The decor was beautiful, modern and clean.
Me and my boyfriend went here as we were staying in a cabin 5 mins away. The food was incredible, we ended up having starters; main, desert and a cocktail as the menu was so great!! Plus there was 33% of as we went on a Monday which is always a bonus! The service was also great, very attentive and kind (even asked about our day and plans for the evening, which was lovely. Honestly it was amazing quality for a generic pub price.
We had a lovely time here. The play area was fab for my 4 and 6 year old.
The food was lovely, my eldest son said it was the best burger he’d ever had. The portions were really generous.
The staff were really helpful, they asked the chef about allergy information which really helped our visit.
We will definitely be coming back again, next time we are in the area.
Service was spot on. Food came quite quickly and was so nice. I had not had such a nice meal in a public place for a long time. Waiter was so kind and helpful. Everywhere was very clean. I would definately rate this place 5 stars all round.

This was probably our best find during our holiday - so much so that we ended up coming here for dinner three nights. Great selection of food, so there's always something for everyone (our kids, who are usually rather picky, were wowed by the pizzas). It can get pretty busy, so it's worth booking ahead, especially if you're bringing your dog (there's limited space in their dog-friendly section). Despite being busy, the service was fast and friendly. 100% would visit again
We came here for our anniversary meal. The food was absolutely beautiful. Hot and fresh and well presented. The staff were lovely and the desserts were divine. Would definitely recommend.
Booked a table for 9 people. A warm welcome from all of the staff. Good choice on the menu from starters, main course and dessert. Everything was tasty and sizeable portions. The staff were fantastic, especially Laura. We will be back
Fantastic location, great food, great service. Brilliant playground for the kids with picnic benches under cover with heat lamps!! Also we could park our camper overnight for free once we had had dinner... amazing!!
Lovely atmosphere and a child friendly and family environment. I booked online for 15 adults and three toddlers, two babies! For my daughters 30th birthday meal. I received a call from Sam to confirm the numbers etc. Sam was an excellent host from start to finish! There were enough staff on duty and they were all fantastic. Food was ordered and arrived in good time. High chairs were available. There is a lovely outdoor seating area, partly sheltered and a great play area for children.

We enjoyed a delicious meal at Y Bryncynan this week. The staff were lovely, especially Steven who was very attentive. The menu choice was great and our dog was made very welcome too.
Our daughter was able to work from there on Friday for a few hours using her laptop and their Wi-Fi. The staff kindly provided her with a nice quiet area which they separated from the main restaurant using glass doors. They kept the coffee flowing too which was great!
