First time Trying The Mad Hunter South African Restaurant up above the Palatine Public House. Took my Husband for his birthday and I was not disappointed, beautiful and tasty spring rolls, smoked mussels infused in chilli for starters. I opted for the surf & Turf 5oz steak with an abundance of shell

Superb Sunday roast dinner. Friendly welcome, attentive service and value for money. Would definitely recommend
Small cozy place and oh my, the food is great. Chips are fresh cut, pizzas are made with a herb base and the fish and chips was a huge portion. Freshness seems to be the key here. Highly recommend you give it a try.
Great selection of beers and a great night of live music on a Saturday.
Girly meal with friends, the lady serving us was lovely, and the food was above my expectations. The room is a bit sparse looking, and could do with bit of sprucing up, but, we came for food, and it was excellent, and reasonably priced.
Wasn’t expecting much as we walked into the bar area but greated by a very friendly chap that explained restaurant was upstairs. Menu was great, service was fantastic and the food was amazing. We had 4 dishes and were all great our kids thorough enjoyed theirs and was very reasonably priced. Portion
Food was lovely. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. Definitely be back when in this neck of the woods 👍🏻
Could do with some seats outdoors to enjoy the sunshine.
Food was amazing would highly recommend.
Me and the wife had a great meal together. Food was cooked very nice. The chef deserves a pat on the back it put a smile on my wife's face so smiles all round. Well done to the bar staff for being pleasant. I defo recommend this place to anyone for affordable 3 course meal and a nice pint
I had Sunday lunch with a good friend for a catch up. Wow!!! Fabulous food and classy presentation. What a beautiful room and such wonderful service and personal touch by the talented chef Ben. Just serene views and a very modern approach - much needed in the area and I will be going again a lot.

Great friendly and cosy Morecambe pub. Large selection of drinks and has some very good local acts performing. One of the best 👍
Great little independent bar facing the seafront in Morecambe. Has a wide of products, including craft beers, gins etc etc. Haven't tried the food but the plates that went past look worth a try at some point. Had live music on and even though the place is small the atmosphere was superb.
A brilliant night, mainly down to the talent of the singer 'Desiree', she sang a great range of song , which really got the crowd up on their feet and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Excellent!!!
This pub receives amazing reviews and probably justified. The cask beer choice is Lancaster blonde and I believe a second beer is usually available. The blonde was on fine form but for all the push on food it is not available every night and this is not clear on the website, therefore a very disappo
This is a little Morecambe bay gem. Delicious food and a really good atmosphere plus probably the best stocked bar in the town. Also, this pub is linked the local Lancaster brewery and they make some fantastic brews without the chemical crappy so no horrendous hangovers!
Awesome food!! Awesome staff!!
After freezing at the local football match we decided to go on the advice of the good reviews on here and wasn't disappointed...
The surroundings are very drab and run down but this place is a diamond in the rough, the lady behind the bar was very friendly and sat us i
