Visited a week or so ago for a quick coffee and a cake, I hadn't been before but thoroughly enjoyed it, I was most impressed with the friendly staff especially Tracy and I think the other server was called Vicki, excellent customer service, nothing too much trouble, will recommend and will definitely be back x
Great coffee shop, ideally located on the high street. They offer a great range of choices on their menu including vegan options. Well worth a visit.
The staff in both the high Street and sports centre are always welcoming and friendly, service is good as well as the food, coffee is the best around, Arleen, Zoe were very friendly today when I was in as they always are, all the staff are lovely xx
I had a visit to montrose to the air station then came in here yesterday with my grandson and granddaughter for lunch staff was very nice and accommodating for them my granddaughter is a fussy eater at times we think it's a great place to be will definitely come back soon
Soup and sandwich deal hit the spot as usual,yesterday afternoon. Also had the customary most enjoyable bacon roll and coffee,after our Wednesday morning exertions with the Carnoustie walking group. Birute a star as always,taking time to chat and ensure the cutlery,condiments and napkins were amply supplied. Madisons also recently served us very well,in both senses of the word,for a small Men's Shed finance meeting.
We love popping into Madison's for some lunch and often for a cuppy and a hot chocolate. Went for lunch today and the staff were lovely, thanks to Kenya and Sarah I think their names were!
In for breakfast this morning, and as usual, it was superb. The staff are great. We were served by Arlene today and I have to say, what a fab member of staff, very friendly and helpful. I will be coming back. �
Lovely lunch today and thank you to the 2 lasses behind the counter who didn't mind me moving to a seat which meant I wasn't in the airflow from the door - I really appreciated it, especially after getting so cold yesterday waiting for my car to be serviced.

I visited Madisons Montrose yesterday with a friend for lunch. Both of us must adhere to a strict gluten free diet. We were completely bowled over by the patience and courtesy of the lady who waited on us. Stupidly forgot to ask her name, wish I had. Can't praise her enough. Great food too. So often GF is bland and often the only safe choice is salad. Not here. Excellent place!

Hello. :-) i like to come here for lunch. The soups are very nice. The butter and bread is very good. I like that they have gluten free bread. Delightful workers. Sometimes don't get the order right. But the food is lovely. Nice people here to chat too. Good place to have a pot of tea. :-D
Nice food, nice friendly staff. outside seating area is barried off so people aren't getting in your way whilst eating.
Inside is very pleasant and provides a nice relaxing atmosphere.
First time round I had the soup of the day and tuna wrap, both very tasty and we'll presented.
Second visit was for breakfast, pancakes were really nice, very tasty maple syrup and bacon sadly though the scrambled eggs let them down, very water and lacked any seasoning.
Food is homely, the breakfast is well worth the 20 minute wait. The only criticism I would have is that the hot drinks come very quickly after ordering, so you are left with a dilemma, let it go cold or spend more and get fresh, hot coffee when you get your food.
Worth a visit.
It's a great cafe in a lovely little Angus town. I've been a few times over the years and the place is always very clean inside and the staff are great. Lovely iced ginger too.

Fantastic place to meet family and friends for a cuppy n cake..breakfast rolls are delicious good local quality meat. Soups are always tasty.

Great cafe for coffee and hot paninis and sandwiches that are freshly made. They were even generous with the kids portions. Will visit again.
Lovely staff loved cinnamon hot chocolate, tasty bacon with maple syrup, nice sausages in a roll. Recommend.

In a High Street ravaged by deplorable fast food chains... Madisons provides quality over quantity. Great ambience and good quality coffee.

Excellent cappuccino, scones a little dry. Lovely waiting staff. We will be back.
