A bustling cafe in central Montrose with a menu of sandwiches, baked potatoes, soup, toasties, paninis etc. Reasonable prices, staff friendly. Busy at lunchtime - clearly the place to go in Montrose! - service a little slow but staff were working flat out. We all had toasted paninis which were well done with generous fillings.

Excellent home made sandwiches and carrot cake. Lovely atmosphere plus a wee gift shop if so inclined! Would have given it 5 stars but it was on the small side for those with a larger frame😏 Back again, Scotch broth was superb and the carrot cake again. Coffee was a bit on the weak side otherwise fantastic wee place.

Great venue and very central but disappointed with my Americano which was cloudy and not the best flavour. Staff and atmosphere was good.

Only issue is with cakes that have seemed to have dropped substantially in quality. Spoke to friends/family who said same

What a great place to go relax and have a bite to eat and a cuppa. The toastie I had was just the best with plenty of filling. Also prices are very good. Staff are friendly and polite. Well done done Coffee House. 🙂

Tea, food and cakes are good and well priced. The coffee wasn't the best unfortunately, but the service was fantastic.

Very friendly pub. Most of the folk were local but we were made very welcome by the excellent staff. Music on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

Lovely place tucked away by the Town Hall. We had mushroom soup which was absolutely delicious and egg and cress sandwiches. No frills but good honest food. Very reasonable prices. Plenty of tea in your pot as well. We'll worth a visit.
