Outstanding. Swung past today with the family and can't fault a single thing. Friendly welcoming staff. A menu I had to review at least 3 times as everything sounded delicious. Decided on a Moo Oink with a side of fries. There take on a bacon burger and wow. That is what burgers are meant to be like. Generous and hot burger. Proper meat. Crisp salad, perfect bacon, crispy toasted bun. Hot, crispy and fluffy fries. Everything was spot on and so tasty. Will definitily be back to try the other items I was eyeing up. Think other nearby burger places better watch out. East Coast burgers is here and will definitily be my go to place. Keep up the good work.

We booked a table just in case. We never new this place existed until I came across a post on Facebook. We saw the photographs of the menu items and thought they look good. The menu looked tasty so down we went.
The restaurant is a small place but really well set out and looks great. The staff in the restaurant made us feel welcome and we had one of the booths at the back.
The menu is not massive but there is still a great choice the only problem with it was trying to decide what to have. I asked for the spiciest , which was either the Mexican or the Deperado, I asked for whichever was the spiciest and ended up with the Mexican, it was delicious. Nicola had the Stuffed burger, stuffed with Haggis and covered in peppercorn sauce. Ruaridh had the Moo Oink and Anya the chicken dippers. We complimented the burgers with Haggis loaded fries and nachos. Although the nachos were not what you might expect they were ok, the haggis loaded fries were great.
Very tasty, good value for money as everything is fresh and the burgers 100% home made. They dont have a licence so if you want a wee drink BYOB, we didn’t as it was early this evening !
I would recommend you try it as we will be going back!
A wee gem down the sea front at Montrose
Went today for lunch and wasn't disappointed. Burgers are juicy and well made. My wife loved the mac and cheese special. The steak fries are also a winner, highly recommend. Prices aren't too over the top either!
Excellent food and service. The waitress was lovely and the food was fab. The kids meals went down well with my two and our burgers were excellent. Will definitely go back (even though we had to buy our chips separately. Who has a burger without chips?!)

Wow!! This place is amazing. One of the best burgers I've had for a long time. Never usually have a flavoured burger so was nice to have something a bit different. Thats nacho burger is amazing and also been given an amazing name � will be back to try more of your burgers ��
The hubby & I popped in here for lunch today and can honestly say it was superb! Great customer service from the get-go. Everything on the menu is appealing, so will be going back until I've tried everything at least once.
Delicious burgers with home-made accompaniments like aioli and their own relish (which is yum btw). But for me the winner was the beer battered onion rings, which were outstanding. Only wish I'd had room for dessert!!
Was here this afternoon for lunch with family and what an amazing meal not one thing left on any of our plates (8 of us) I had the desperado burger which had chilli on it too best burger I have tasted in a long time, it was amazing and the homemade tortilla chips were lovely. Steak loaded fries and onion rings all super we all left extremely satisfied �Definitely be back�

Very impressive burgers! Delicious, well presented and generously proportioned. Don't let the remote location or bland building exterior fool you, this is one of the best burger joints in Scotland.
Been a few times with the wife and kids and the mains are always good and the staff are always friendly. I'll be back again! The only thing for me is the desserts are a bit lackluster. Last time I had chocolate fudge cake that was actually 2 slices of dense, chocolate sponge with a runny sauce over the top. Make them a bit more special and I'll be back every week. I'm still waiting to see the tuppeny nudger make an appearance!

1. Absolutely fantastic burgers & sides.
2. Lovely clean restaurant.
3. Prices very competitive.
4. Good parking.
5. Friendly staff.
Bad points
1. Waitresses had very little knowledge of the menus. And forgot the drinks order, slow service.
2. There specials were only verbal with no prices and when asked they didn’t know !!
3. Table ware. All burgers were served on a slab which looks good but not practical unless you want to wear your burger !!
If they sort out the bad points I will definitely be back. I can’t stress how nice the food was.
What you would hope to expect in a burger and nicely presented. Popped in on a cold day and we were pleasantly surprised! Very clean, good service and very nice helpful waitress. Best wishes to them for a busy season to come!
Henry our neighbour suggested ECB we had a real authentic burger experience yesterday, expertly seared on the outside, juicy within, and perfectly cooked chips.This with the friendly servers and views over the sandy Scottish coast must make this burger joint one of the best outside of New York.
Met by pleasant member of staff who showed us to our table, kindly asked us to comply with covid rules and fill out our contact details then took our order. Food was delivered in good time and the quality and presentation of the food was amazing. A must for those who haven't yet tried it. Thanks to Perry and his team
Great wee place that has an excellent menu, a good twist on a burger as these are all made to order. Service is really good and always with a smile. The milk shakes are always fine. Good selection and great value. If you are looking for a great burger go here, if you want cheap go to McDonald's.
The burgers are delicious and just melt in the mouth........ The service is excellent and the atmosphere really great. The children loved it, especially dessert.
This is the second visit and we will definitely come back.

Very pleased with the quality of the burgers at this place. Proper meat and plenty of it. Good selection of stuff on the menu. Nice presentation. Lovely helpful smiley staff. Right next to the beach. Parking spaces at the door and a play park right outside for the kids. What more could you wish for?
Lovely waitress service, open to view kitchen. Amazing hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream. Taste bud tickling burgers with avocado, salad and whichever relish or sauce you prefer. Large selection of sides and as too for dessert, am going back soon. Recommend highly.
Well a wee drive out from Perth turned into a run to the beach, we found this place purely by accident and we were really impressed. Staff really happy and helpful would definitely recommend and we will be back!! Just watch out though don't waste cheesecake they are a bit prescious about it!!! Well worth a visit.
Very pleasant good food but takes a while to come 30min wait for food. A little on the hot side on a warm day maybe needs a little more airflow. But all in all a good experience no alcohol on menu hence 4 stars.
Went for a family meal and had a great experience. Burgers top notch, staff all friendly and efficient with all Covid-19 restrictions in place and being adhered to. My first time there but I'll certainly go back.
