My second time here and tonight it was absolutely amazing. We phoned in really late and were really well accommodated, served promptly and given our food a little while after. Food was to die for, we loved every mouthful - we had the pork of the festive menu and I couldn't recommend it enough!! Service from our waiter was great too!! We even booked a table to come back for my birthday, sooooo so so good!!! 6/5 stars if I could! X

Great meal last night.. Only down point is the ice cream- its tasteless. But over all we enjoyed our meal and service.
We have been in twice this week for family celebrations and on both occasions we enjoyed fantastic meals. The curries are our favourite, best we have had with fantastic naan. We have been in fairly regularly since it opened and have always had a great meal. We are always welcomed by the great staff. Highly recommended

Went out on Saturday night for food. Had the tandoori Egyptian chicken. Loved it. The service was very good, staff were polite and attentive. Wine selection also very good. The wine we wanted was sold out but fortunately they recommended the Monopol wine which was top quality. Will definitely be back.
Probably the best meal I've ever had anywhere in Angus. Cannot fault a single thing, from food to atmosphere it was a perfect meal.
I had a tandoori mixed platter food was delicious. Best i have had in a very long time good portion sizes, Lovely friendly staff, nice clean well set out area tables were not too close together. Will most defiantly be back and Soon!
Another lovely meal at Stroma. We shared the balti butter chicken curry, chicken tikka masala curry with rice, chips, mango chutney and a portion of the mixed mushroom, vegetable and chicken pakora. We didn’t book but managed to get a lovely quiet table in the lounge. Drinks and food came quickly, curries and pakoras were amazing and service was super friendly. Second time going for curries and will definitely be back again, thank you for a lovely meal �����

We chose stroma as our venue for our wedding meal yesterday, safe to say it was amazing!! Food was fantastic, service was great and everybody had a brilliant time. Audrey and Ali have been great at every step of the way, helping us choose the food, drinks and even making lovely menus to match our colours. If we could do it all again we wouldn't change a thing thank you for making our day perfect ��

My family and I love Stroma, from the warm welcome you receive when you enter, to the attentive staff during your meal. The menu has something for everyone and is very accommodating to those who like mild curry or hot. We have never had a disappointing night. Looking forward to many more visits.
Really nice food over here, tried the India and love it. They have a big menu to pick from so be ready to crack your head. Huge portion so good for sharing.
First time visit for us and we were not disappointed. From walking into the restaurant we were made to feel very welcome, shown straight to our table, and the drinks were there very swiftly.
The food was excellent, and very reasonable prices, added to that we had 3 very attentive waitresses, so had a lovely meal and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.
Superb quality food in a variety of styles and tastes. Top value for money as each delish plate is stacked to the top so feeding many on one or two meals is quite easy

First time in stroma we had a warm welcome showed to our seats made very welcome sat down got offered our drinks got drinks then ask what we wanted to eat. The menu had a very large of choice of all different varieties of food we had steak pie 🥧 I can honestly say that the food was absolutely fantastic I would recommend that everybody trys this excellent restaurant if I could give this more than a five star 🌟 rating I would I will defo be back very soon thanks for a perfect night stroma well done.
Meal at Stroma was amazing. I had the indian Thali which I would suggest everyone tries. Not only was it delicious but the prices were brilliant. Ali the owner &chef was a fab host and all staff were fantastic. They also pour a mean pint o tennants

Visited Montrose for Jubilee weekend & had a superb meal on the saturday night. Nice staff & with the size of the portions you definitely get your money's worth. Six of us all had lovely meals.

Out for a family meal on a Saturday evening so you can imagine it was quite busy. From the moment we arrived we were looked after by some genuinely happy and professional front of house staff. The menu was extensive and I must admit to being slightly concerned due to the vast array of European and Asian dishes available. My fears were allayed when the food arrived. The main dishes were piping hot, with rich, tasty sauces and light, fluffy rice. I had opted for the lamb rogan josh and it did not disappoint, with just the right spiciness and 'zing,' with tender chunks of lamb in abundance. We had opted for two Naan breads as sides and they also did not disappoint, with a slight crisp exterior and soft warm interior and just the right amount of flavouring within.
The main dish portions were huge and the naans akin to small folded blankets! I only wish I had had room to try the desserts.
All the staff were so friendly from the waiting staff on the floor, who didn't seem to stop but still found time for a chat and a joke, to the barman and Manager/chef who paused from cashing up to have a chat.
To finish, the bill was very reasonable and we would definitely recommend. Thank you for a splendid evening.
Good place to eat and a great idea that people at the table can choose between Indian food or a more European/Traditional Menu. Keeps everyone happy!
