Popped in this afternoon, I bought 3 baguettes. A custard slice, a chocolate doughnut, a Brownie and loaf of fresh bread. Absolutely amazing. If you visit monmouth you MUST pop in to this bakery.
such a lovely experience using Thurabread for our wedding. i don't believe this is something they do loads of but they were more than up for it and were so accommodating.
we had 90 doughnuts which they personalised for us and they happily added on other items we needed with short notice!

I'm going to be honest here - I am a massive Thurabread merchant - I go every day apart from Sundays without fail. Possibly the best cafe/bakery I have ever been to. Friendliest staff, tastiest food, and what cannot be overlooked is the amazing service. My regular order of a steak bake and a milksha

Absolutely fantastic bakery. Visiting from over the bridge today, ordered a ham & cheese salad baguette, with all the trimmings.
A few minutes later, a fresh baguette full of everything for £3 purchased & it was amazing, full of taste & freshly made. Beats the pants off of Greggs, any day. Give them
Fantastic pies and cakes! Great pastry and tasty fillings. Had the vegan roll and pasty - both were really good. Plus has outdoor seating on a quirky part of the high street.
Excellent staff especially Jackie she always has a smile to brighten up everyone's day always happy. The food is delicious I go regularly to get a bacon roll or a sausage roll never failed me. Excellent work all.
So I've been to Gregg's and enjoyed their bacon roll and a hot drink for a little over £2. Then I tried the bacon roll and hot drink from Thurabread For £3, they don't compare!! Best extra you'll ever spend! And their crust loaf is the business too!
I love this shop. Staff are fab and the food is great! I blame their delicious bread and cakes for my lockdown stone. Their sausage rolls are pretty good too 😁
We popped in this morning for a vegan sausage roll, steak pasty and a couple of sweet treats. Very friendly staff and excellent food! I’ll definitely be returning :)

Wowsers! Award winning pasties and freshly baked bread, had a 🐌 snails bun (like a Belgium bun but cooler!) well recommend a visit, friendly and helpful staff even gave me an extra bag today to help me out (thank you)!
Hi best saauage rolls ive ever had .live in london and taking sone back to give boyfriend .douhnuts and bathbuns (snails)they call it here.
Ive had sasauge rolls 2 days on the trott.if i lived here everday i go in.sasauge filling is full .perfect .
GI bread is amazing and we also love the vegan sausage rolls 😋 Can’t go in without getting a cake or doughnut as well though 😍
Deffinately reccomend the bakery ,we are not over priced ,we aim to please our customers ,our chelsea buns and lardies are the best and thats come from our customers ,you have to be an early bird to purchase these so dont be disapointed come early or give us a ring to order ,simply the best bread !!

Great choice of fillings with baguettes/sandwiches, great quality and taste compared to chains like Greggs. Highly recommended!
