Plough & Harrow - Monknash - Photo album

Nice old traditional pub. Only had drinks so can’t comment on the food. Although it was a sunny day, we sat inside because of the characterful decor. Expect it would be lovely in winter as there’s a large fire place.
Great Ploughman's and a stunning Steak & Ale pie, you didn't need to hunt for the Meat!! Service was great as was the Black Dragon!! See you soon.
What an amazing find after a windy day in south Wales. We hadn't booked but the staff were happy for us to share a large table with a couple. The atmosphere was fantastic on a Saturday lunch time - made even better by the roaring fire that was constantly stoked. My Mum and I ordered the king scallop
Flavoursome food, great cider options, would have preferred to eat in the restaurant side which was occupied by a private party, just personal preference. Paella served for the private party looked amazing. Good atmosphere, rugby was on, attentive and accommodating staff. Will be back if in the are
This is a lovely country pub and restaurant. The food is great, and their new menu addition of bara brith bread and butter pudding is to die for! There's a great variety of ciders or real ale available, and its cosy atmosphere makes it well worth a visit.
Nice country pub with a friendly vibe. Plenty of outdoor seating in a large peaceful garden at the front, perfect at the end of a long hot summers day. Good food, in particular the chicken curry (a firm customer favorite I was told). Easy to find with lots of parking.
We had a fantastic roast here today after a nice walk down the coastal path. The bar staff were attentive and seemed to genuinely care about the customers experience. We'll definitely be back
Nice little country pub on the way to the beach. They get busy so I would recommend you book but we turned up early and they managed to squeeze us in for 45mins which was nice. 4 stars instead of 5 as they only had roasts on the menu on a Sunday and I was already booked in for a roast later that day
Didn't eat so can't rate the food. Nice big beer garden. Always a nice glass of something when we visit here.
It might seem odd that I rated the Plough & Harrow 5 stars but only gave the food 3 stars and the service 4 stars. All I can say is go there and you'll probably understand. It is an amazing old boozer, great beers, chock full of character and history, perhaps more so than any other pub I've ever bee
Had lunch here 2 days before Christmas, the bar man was amazing nothing was a problem, food was excellent and the recommended Christmas ale was perfect. Have a great Christmas guys
I have never experienced a more fantastic pub restaurant than the plough and harrow, the food is bespoke and beyond delicious, the staff are are friendly without hovering, and the atmosphere is beachside easy going, locals and higher class mostly, fantastic! I have never rated somewhere as 5*, this
We had a fabulous meal on Friday night, the linguine was delicious, my husband enjoyed his fish and chips, our waitress Izzy was very attentive. Thanks for a lovely night.
Nice, local atmosphere, good quality food and decent portions. Pub has a great, old local feel.
