Lovely pub, great menu and very nice beer. Food is fantastic, I had steak and it was the best I have had for a long while. The Mrs had stroganoff and which, unusual for her she ate the lot. Delicious food, service, atmosphere and value is excellent. Thank you guys.
Called after a fabulous helicopter flight locally for lunch. It was very quiet when we arrived but the staff were lovely and friendly and we were served quickly. The food was absolutely delicious- I had pork belly and my partner had the venison sausages! The service was fabulous and hearing chat with other customers as it started to fill up showed how lovely the staff were. I had the house red which was delicious and my partner was very happy with his coffee as he was driving. Would definitely recommend
Large beer garden with playground for kids at the back. There are also few tables outside, closer to the pub back entrance and some nice inside if you need calmer space.
Food spot on, all meals were tasty and top quality.

We came here while on honeymoon and we was treated like royalty. We was told on arrival we could choose any table in the building then was also greeted with a complimentary glass of prosecco each. The food was out of this world and do not take my words lightly as I can assure you the homemade soup made from scratch in house and the ribeye steak cooked to true perfection was immense. The staff are so welcoming and the manager Claire could not do enough. I genuinely couldn't be more happy than the evening we have spent here tonight. What a place 👏 .
Booked ahead a table for 4 adults and 3 dogs.
We were welcomed and shown to our area where we could choose a table as it wasn’t that busy at 230pm.
We ordered our drinks and were left to peruse the menu. Water bowls were provided for our dogs. We ordered and our food didn’t take long to arrive. The food was lovely.
Would happily eat here again.
Prices average for a foody pub.
Must mention the toilets too. Where sanitary products, deodorant, hairspray were all provided free. 😊

I’ve been meaning to post this review since November! We used the crowns function room for my husbands surprise 30th Birthday Party and it was perfect, the space, the food the staff, couldn’t have asked for anything more. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to host a party with amazing food and service.
First time here for food. Greeted promptly and shown to choices of tables to sit at.
Very nice friendly staff. Clean and warm. Nice atmosphere.
Food was delicious. Forgot to take pics but had aubergine and belly pork, others had prawns, hake, salmon, chicken and also lemon meringue pie. All of it was very nice.
Coffee after was also good.
Will definitely return. Not too pricey. Inc drinks
Came here for lunch with family. They all chose the steak and ale pie which was a great portion and definitely went down well with all. I had the slow cooked belly pork my goodness was beautiful. The staff are great very welcoming and service was fast. Will definitely be returning very soon.
We had the steaks and all the trimmings. The steaks were beautiful as well as everything else on the plate. Followed by desserts. Ample portions, very tasty, hot on arrival. All the staff were friendly and attentive. Pleasant night with good food. Will definitely return.
