Traditional guest house, beautiful old building with wonky floors and door frames but kept well. Breakfast was very good, quality ingredients cooked well. Nice little bar tucked on the side of the main seating area. Far better value than the main hotel chains, would definitely stay again if in the area.

Fabulous stay in this lovely quirky B&B. Sarah and John are the perfect hosts and very welcoming. We arrived early and Sarah offered us refreshments which was lovely, the fresh baked scone was delicious 😋 Breakfast was great, tasty and hot and set us up for the day. Definitely recommend

Unique historic house, with charm and a welcoming feel. Such a different experience to the everyday hotel. Guests are made very welcome and the staff are so good at making one feel at home. Rooms delightful and well - stocked with a good selection of teas coffees etc. I arrived much later than they expected, but I was welcomed with a sandwich, tea and cakes. It is only a few minutes from the M56, and about 10 mins drive from the centre of Chester. There is even a bus stop close by! Recommended.

Booked a room for my step daughters baby shower. What a lovely afternoon we had. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Food was fabulous. Room was lovely. Very competitive price. Highly recommended.

Lovely warm welcome for us and our children. The breakfast was fantastic. Shame we didn't stay for a second night. Everything was just right for a B&B. Glad I booked this instead of the usual big chain hotels.

Personal welcome on arrival by owner. Amazing gardens hidden off main road - how have I missed it all these years. Right opposite Mollington Banistre a very cosy and delightful alternative tho. Had the high tea option and it was delicious. Highly recommended but book ahead. Will definitely be going back

This is great place for good home cooked food.Plenty of choice. Staff are very friendly and helpful.Rooms are small but cosy with the option of eating outside. The hall is just a few minutes from the city centre. Will be eating there again.

Stayed overnight on our way to Chester Zoo. We stayed in the family room and it was the perfect stay. Such a lovely big room with a private large bathroom. Lovely breakfast served in the morning and perfect personalised service. A great stay.

I had a great lunch. It was a tuna panini with chips. Staff were friendly. The location is beautiful, looking out from the historic home onto a garden and a pond. I will be returning
