I won the Facebook competition and we headed down from Belfast for our free breakfast today. Food was beautiful and lovely to see Olwyn the owner, out and about chatting to customers! Would recommend this place to everyone yummy!

We stopped at The Fat Gherkin for our coffee stop during our Trail Demons bun run. Fast, efficient and friendly service and the sausage rolls are the best I have ever had. The cappacino was excellent too. This will definitely be a regular stop off on our bun runs.

Had never been to The Fat Gherkin before but my friend Sonia raves about it all the time!
We choose the BLT and the Steak Sandwich so we could do the obvious and share .. both were delicious.. we followed up with a very nice tray bake .. i could not persuade the proprietor to give me the recipe but i will have another go next time i am back!! Ps they serve a very nice cappuccino .. well done x

Was filming here yesterday with the groom & his groomsmen ahead of their wedding day while they munched on a big fry. The craic was great & all the staff were very welcoming, outstanding coffee! Thank you ladies, I'll be back :-)

You have to wait to be seated in this cafe. The food was mediocre but presented nice. Coffee was good. Staff were friendly had a a giggle with the waitress about the size of the sausage π
Great upscale twists on classic dishes.
Eggs Benedict loaded with great chunks of ham and eggs poached to perfection.
Good coffee too.
Worth the half an hour wait for a table.
The food was great along with the service could have been a little more on the plate for breakfast the fat sausage made it up a bit may beans and toast with the soda stack

Food is excellent with a brilliant menu and choice..the preperatiom of the meals are presented excellently..the staff are very helpful and pleasant as is the owner Alwynn.i always enjoy my visit.

The place is so cosy, food is unreal, staff members so relaxed, friendly.. Worth to visit. Has a little, nice back garden aswell to sit outside on the nice day. Will definitely visit again. My eggs Benny was amazing! ππ Thank you.
This place is lovely. Their chai lattes are really good s well as their other coffee drinks (cappuccino). The staff here is really nice and their food is made of fresh quality ingredients.
Had breakfast here, quickly seated , order taken immediately, very quickly received drinks & food came quickly. Pleasant staff , would eat here again!!

Friendly and fast staff. Delicious food and coffee. Would recommend for the avocado toast using simply sliced/mashed avocados rather than mixing with salsa but it was still tasty!
