What a lovely pub! The nicest pub menu I’ve seen, delicious food and selections. We had the salmon special, my cousin had the steak and pear salad special and his wife had the steak and cheddar pie. Cosy atmosphere. Such fantastic people, highly recommend and will definitely want to stop here again! Cheers!

Nice pint and roast beef Sunday lunch in the sunshine for a lone diner (with no booking). Quick and attentive service. Lovely.

First time visiting the Guinea, popped in on the off chance, they were very busy but still found us a table for four. A very pleasant young man showed us to the table and took our drinks order, once again a very pleasant lady took our order, little wait for food but that didn't matter as we were out for a relaxing lunch. Basically we only ordered sandwiches and baguette, all came well presented and was really tasty and plenty of it. We were all very happy with the food and good service considering how busy they were. Beautiful old building inside and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I had lunch at the Guinea and it was delicious. I went for the Seafood Bake and she had the steak suet pudding and would recommend both. The lady behind the bar and the young gent who served us were friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back

Popped by for lunch on a sunny Saturday and sat in the garden. I thought that the interior was beautiful, and loved the cute garden. We were met with very friendly bar staff. The menu choices were extensive which we were very impressed with. Despite them being very busy, the food was exceptional and all members of my party were absolutely thrilled with their meals. For what we had, we also thought the cost was reasonable and fair. Seemed to be really nice vibe amongst the patrons. Have added it to my favorites and will definitely go back.

We stopped by passing through. They sat us quickly and everything was nice and clean. Menu is of a good size with a lot to choose from and they have a specials board, off that we chose the "chicken" pasta special which was advertised as tuna. There was obviously some confusion as I personally only ordered as we were told it was chicken and tuna is what come out. Overall the food and service was good.

Really lovely food. Quite a large pub and lots of tables. Was very busy for mid week but didn't put us off. Not a long wait for food. Nice log fireplace..We had tried to call ahead and book but when we arrived we realised why no one answered..only 2 waitresses..but they did a fab job! So nice. Thank you

Went there for some food as it was such a beautiful day out. Had a sharing platter and the ocean pie, they were both amazing. The sharing platter could be a meal by itself. Lovely staff that work there were happy to have a chat. The garden was also beautiful and had plenty of parking. Was so gutted they didn't have Pepsi as an option, but overall was a lovely place.

Love this place. 5 stars for everything. Just started using it. Really friendly staff, great food. Little bit pricey, but it's worth it. Eat in the beer garden at table 17, nice.

A very nice English pub. Seems family friendly and has a friendly staff. I had the cottage pie, very good, then a trifle for dessert, very tasty. Recommended.

I just wanted to share a review of one of our local pubs. Supporting small business is so important! I had a lovely meal with friends at The Guinea Pub - Moggerhanger All of the meals were really tasty and huge portions! They even replaced my garlic bread, as they had ran out, with onion rings. All the staff were really friendly. Especially the manager Josh who made us feel really welcome. Atmosphere at a pub is just as important as the food in my opinion and we will definitely be going back. Thank you for a lovely evening Josh and his staff 🙌👏💜

Meet up with some old work colleagues, all of us thourght we'd try The Guinea as not been there for years, we weren't disappointed We all had a lovely time and an enjoyable meal( mains and pudding) the staff were friendly and service was good, not rushed in anyway, which gave us plenty time to catch up with each other A nice oldie worldie pub, reasonably priced, pub grub and friendly atmosphere with plenty of parking, we will definitely go back, hopefully sooner than later! Many thanks to all at The Guinea

We went here yesterday for our firms Christmas dinner🤣. Maddie has gone but Jo and Deanne were lovely. The food was exceptional I had prawn cocktail starter with LOADS of prawns then a blue steak that was great and I couldn't finish it. The others had a soup to start that was lovely looking and fish and chips that was massive. Thank you very much to the guinea for a lovely afternoon just want to add, John is in our hearts xxxxx
