Thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon / evening. we had an amazing time celebrating Carleys hen party. Your staff truly looked after us, the BBQ was delicious, hot and ran smoothly with no queuing. The atmosphere was incredible from start to finish. A great day, enjoyed by all

Still a hidden gem, as it was back in the seventies!! That long since I paid a visit and on a glorious Bank hol Monday, enjoyed a delicious feta salad, outdoors. It really is a lovely old pub with good food and a great atmosphere. 🙂

Went with a group of young Mums and tots and enjoyed delicious food and great, attentive service. Noticed there were doggy treats available so I know this place is also dog friendly. I would sum it up as a welcoming lunch venue for all the family. Outside we spotted a kiddies climbing frame area and picnic benches. Will come again in spring to check out family eating outdoors.

Stumbled across the pub whilst on a walk to the Alpaca Farm across the road. Dan and Laura have done a fantastic job to make quite a large pub feel warm and cosy. We only stopped for a drink and some chips but the service was great and the prices too. We have a little man and the play area was a lot of fun with plenty of space to play football for the older kids.

Sunday lunch as a family (2adults 2 kids under 5) - Lovely atmosphere. It can get busy, so service was a tad slower. But workers all in good spirits, and lovely. Shame the Alpaca's next door was out, but kids still saw a few horses walking past our table windows. Food and drink was good. Sunday roast - can't go wrong. Burger and chips really tasty! And my kid ate all of his fish and chips + pudding. Would thoroughly recommend for families

Good Sunday lunch for a group of us. It was busy but service was great, very attentive. Food was good pub food, the sharing Sunday roast platter was huge and enjoyed. The steak and ale pie very nice too. The chocolate brownie an excellent way to round off the meal. We thoroughly enjoyed it, quality food good portions and great service. Sunday pub lunch done well.

I just live this place. Been there 4 times and it's always a pleasure. Food is always good, service is great, there is a large car park and an area outside for kids to play. Pricing is not too bad either compared to others. Always happy to go there.

This is my favourite Cheshire country pub! Lovely setting both inside and out. We recently celebrated our daughter’s Christening with a wonderful family meal, most of us had the Sunday roast which was hearty and delicious. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating (we were a group of 16 and turned up 45 minutes early and they managed to seat & feed us quickly!) I would highly recommend this pub both in winter for cosy meals, and in summer to sit outside in the lovely beer garden.

The Plough and Flail is truly a hidden gem. The staff are very friendly and attentive. We ordered food from the special's board - a sharing platter of meats which came with onion rings, skin-on chips (not fries) and salad. The meal was better than I could have anticipated and well priced to boot! The wine and beer didn't disappoint either - couldn't have asked for more!!

Came here for my partners 30th- table of 7 of us with two dogs. What a fantastic first visit. Food was outstanding - not a huge menu but everything was beautiful. So grateful for such great service and for where we were seated - right next to the cosy fire ! Thank you so much and can’t wait to return! All planning our next meals here haha! X

We eat here around once a month and drink 2-3 times a month. At weekends the place is quite busy, that should speak for itself as there is no passing trade if you go down the road where this pub is there is very little else to do only go in here. Staff are good and food is usually okay

Thank you Laura and Dan. Had a wonderful lunch in this gorgeous pub. Fantastic, friendly staff who provided great service. Looking forward to returning to sit in the garden when the sun comes out.
