Stumbled across the pub whilst on a walk to the Alpaca Farm across the road. Dan and Laura have done a fantastic job to make quite a large pub feel warm and cosy. We only stopped for a drink and some chips but the service was great and the prices too. We have a little man and the play area was a lot
Sunday lunch as a family (2adults 2 kids under 5) - Lovely atmosphere. It can get busy, so service was a tad slower. But workers all in good spirits, and lovely. Shame the Alpaca's next door was out, but kids still saw a few horses walking past our table windows. Food and drink was good. Sunday roas
Good Sunday lunch for a group of us. It was busy but service was great, very attentive. Food was good pub food, the sharing Sunday roast platter was huge and enjoyed. The steak and ale pie very nice too. The chocolate brownie an excellent way to round off the meal. We thoroughly enjoyed it, quality
I just live this place. Been there 4 times and it's always a pleasure. Food is always good, service is great, there is a large car park and an area outside for kids to play. Pricing is not too bad either compared to others. Always happy to go there.
This is my favourite Cheshire country pub! Lovely setting both inside and out. We recently celebrated our daughter’s Christening with a wonderful family meal, most of us had the Sunday roast which was hearty and delicious. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating (we were a group of 16 and t
The Plough and Flail is truly a hidden gem. The staff are very friendly and attentive. We ordered food from the special's board - a sharing platter of meats which came with onion rings, skin-on chips (not fries) and salad. The meal was better than I could have anticipated and well priced to boot! Th
Came here for my partners 30th- table of 7 of us with two dogs. What a fantastic first visit. Food was outstanding - not a huge menu but everything was beautiful. So grateful for such great service and for where we were seated - right next to the cosy fire ! Thank you so much and can’t wait to retur
Nice pub Located near to farm lands Beautiful place to sit and chill Food is yummy but little bit oily Staff is really friendly Good atmosphere to have some drinks
We eat here around once a month and drink 2-3 times a month. At weekends the place is quite busy, that should speak for itself as there is no passing trade if you go down the road where this pub is there is very little else to do only go in here. Staff are good and food is usually okay
Thank you Laura and Dan. Had a wonderful lunch in this gorgeous pub. Fantastic, friendly staff who provided great service. Looking forward to returning to sit in the garden when the sun comes out.
