Stumbled upon this gem in Manningtree and were very happily surprised. We were very hungry so their very deliciously juicy burgers went down a treat. The chips very crispy and had some lovely herbal seasoning on them. Friendly and personal service. Great view over the Mistly estuary. Highly recommend!

Totally come across this Lil place by accident.. And so glad we did!! Very warm welcome by staff... My 2 year old son was also very welcome!! The atmosphere was fabulous and menu very good, lots of choice and a good kids choice too! Traditional pots of tea where very vintage styled. A real quirky place with a great feel of relaxation and the view also a bonus..... Not great disabled or buggy access tho xx thank you we will be back x

Quaint little tea house, very cosy and friendly. Lovely view of Mistley quay. Breakfast was delicious and the little pots of fresh loose tea are delightful. My new favourite place!

We had lunch on Good Friday and it was perfect. The little individual clear glass teapots and loose leaf tea makes for a lovely cuppa. The baguettes were probably the best we have ever had so fresh with great fillings. Everything is cooked to order and it shows the food is superb. It's a lovely little place and it's dog friendly what more could you want. Hats off to the owners and staff keep doing what you are doing.

We are locals and we took my family visiting us from Australia for lunch today. We were treated to a lovely table overlooking the river, great food and good coffee. Topping it all off was the lovely staff who looked after us very well. So worth a visit - we will definitely be back. Thank you all so much.

Happened upon this lovely tea shop while staying for the weekend nearby. Good food, good service, cosy surroundings and fab views over the estuary, even on a bleak day like yesterday.

A small and quirky tea room. Service was very friendly and personal. Not a huge selection but enough. Dog friendly. Only downsides were the steep steps to get in and no outside seating which we were hoping for.

Lovely cafe located with a good view of the estuary. Very nice and friendly staff with good food, cakes, sandwiches and light bites. Dog friendly too and also an arts gallery next door.

My Sister and I had a lovely meal at The Quay 19/6/22. All the Staff were friendly and so helpful and obliging. The food was good reasonably priced and well presented. We each had a cheese and ham panini, served with a side salad and crisps, followed by a slice of red velvet cake. The Quay is also dog friendly, another bonus. A big thank you to all the staff. Lovely place to sit comfortably and enjoy your food. The owners Matt and Chris were friendly to chat with along with their staff. I loved the tranquil atmosphere too as it wasnt too busy when I went. I'd highly recommend their signature breakfast dish as well, it hit the spot for me. 🙌🏾😋

Came from Harwich for a wander along the walls in the hope of a dog friendly place to stop off and found here. Had really nice cake and coffee, lovely friendly staff who brought a bowl of water out for our puppy. Beautiful view. Will definitely come back and try lunch soon.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff but rather disappointed that you had no white wine. It was a Saturday afternoon and was with friends from outside the area so wanted to impress so they would come back.

Great find, good view over the river. Was v busy and service a bit slow with items arriving for part of group as others finished. Very welcoming and worth a return in smaller numbers!
