As like the Marsh in Cleckheaton - food is the best. would recommend to anyone.

Lovely food good portions and real food not microwaved rubbish yes a bit of a wait but that’s because they are busy & it is real food it doesn’t cook in 30 seconds with a ping! like a lot of pubs these days! Really lovely girl on the bar working really hard would definitely go again 😀
Eaten here s few times now and food is great every time Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will go again. Nice pub lovely location and great service what more can you ask for.

Had a great experience. Cask beer is on point and nice that it was from an independent brewery. Food was outstanding, I will be going back with the family. Staff were all excellent. It was my first visit and I was made to feel welcome. The chips are outstanding!

Very impressed with the white gate. Starts with a warm welcome, then gets better. Great choice of food and drink. Really prompt service. The food was freshly cooked, really tasty, plenty of it and really good value.
We called in for a cheeky drink before my birthday meal, their card machine wasn't working we had no cash on us so we had to leave our details and pop back later with cash. Very inconvenient they should have a back up machine, and who carries cash these days.

We thought we'd give The White Gate a try after not being for years after a bad experience and I will admit they didn't dissapoint, the food was to die for and the service was amazing. I can't wait to try the Sunday lunch 😍
New landlord on 1st day so having to sort out a few issues with the beer/till etc.
Nice and friendly and worth a second visit when settled in.
A lovely pub. Amazing staff, delicious and reasonably priced food. We had liver and onions and Chile con carne, I only wish there would be a larger selection of real ales. There's always a blonde and a bitter on which is nice though. Highly recommended for a bite to eat and a drink while in the area!
just been to the whitegate for lunch and the landlord had just taken over yesterday 24/04 the food was delicious and didnt have to wait a lifetime to be served they were friendly and attentive hope you have a long stay here thank you c&k brooke
Went white gate with my sister and grandparents, really enjoyed it. The food was spot on well worth the price. Absolutely no complaints and would definitely visit again. Infact my grandma wishes to go for Christmas dinner. Will say that it's a nice quiet place and parking decent.

A friendly pub with attentive service. The landlord is the cook and created 3 superb meals for 3 hungry travellers.
The burger and haddock in Old Mill bitter batter were delicious but for me the Indian twist to the tuna steak was the tops!

Just been here for a family celebration, one of our sons has just got engaged. The food was absolutely delicious and great portion size too. Very well priced too.
The staff are really friendly and made us feel welcome and advised us what was on the menu and what the specials were for today, nothing was too much trouble for them, they kept asking if everybody was ok and if the food was ok, no complaints from anyone.
From the minute we walked in to the minute we left we were treated well. Couldn’t recommend it enough, very happy full customers. Will definitely return.
