Just had a delicious three course Mother's Day meal for 3 people for £40. It was a bargain and the food and staff were lovely. Thank you!
Well cooked food from a good selection menu, lovely pub with friendly, efficient staff & great service. Very clean& comfortable.
The only criticism is the desserts are served directly on cheese boards, not on plates, slightly put off by this!

Had the most amazing time today celebrating Mothers Day. We were given a free glass of procecco on arrival. The set three course menu was exceptional, the kids meals were fantastic aswell. The staff have been so pleasant and attentive with us today, it has made us feel like VIPs. We will definitely be coming back again in the near future. Highly recommend xx

We had a gorgeous roast dinner here the other week! Food was all fresh and locally sourced and cooked to perfection. So we'll priced too. Can't wait to come back!

Very nice place for a drink, good parking and lovely views the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Tapas was very nice but I was not sure about the nachos the cheese sauce tasted a bit like custard.
All said and done I would definitely visit again :)

Nice choice of food explained well on menu, top quality food cooked to perfection. Friendly and polite staff with adequate parking. Easy access from Huddersfield or dewsbury. Disabled access is exceptional. Atmosphere is Friendly and warm. Wide range of alcoholic and alcohol free beverages. Outside seating children and dogs welcome. Toilets clean. Country side setting with rustic decor.
Good pensioners menu and good value for money. 2 course's for £.7-20 it's good if you don't have a big appetite.
Nice place with great views. Amazing value, we had the light lunch menu... Soup, main and ice cream for £6.49!

Cosy pub in a great location with plenty of parking. Good fresh grub served from an extensive menu and daily specials available especially the homemade steak pie and peas!! Wide range of beers and wines available at a reasonable price. Really friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful views of the local area from an extensive outside seating area.

Update: good sized beer garden to enjoy the sunny summer weather in. Food is still as good as it was last time I went. Good pub lunch experience all around
First time visitors to this pub. Had been reviewed in local paper recently so gave it a try. Very pleased with the meals and the service. Would recommend. Been again. Meal wonderful. Great waitress.
Went to the Wednesday night quiz for the first time Such a great evening. Interesting quiz, bonus free cocktail questions and complimentary pizza and chips.
