Lovely food. Well cooked not too dry and very tasty. Good choice on the menu. Great service and nice dining area. I would recommend. Much better than the usual pub food. I had chicken breast with Dauphinoise potatoes.
Nice pub based on side on river banging food.good service defo recommend visiting for some good food nice and quiet easy to get table
Great place to eat. Lovely atmosphere, plenty of choice, and not that expensive. Free parking. The food was delicious as well. Great outdoor seating area to eat at. Unfortunately, we went in the evening so couldn't make the most of it.
Great pub, table and counter service. Plate portion was great, tasty and filling! Lovely outside area to chill by the canal, parking plus roadside x
Starter and main delicious except for scampi, breadcrumb coating not so nice. Dessert which we took away was not fresh. Toilets need some attention. Dead bee on floor
A neat pub where you can get good drinks, decent food for a good price! We were just expecting regular pub food yet the food quality and portion exceeded our expectations. If it wasn’t windy, we would have chosen the outdoor seating! Friendly staff, quality food! Will return around Christmas:)
Just had a roast beef dinner have to say it's best I have had in a very long time ! Everything was delicious and the gravy top notch. Thank you 😊
Great pub , restaurant too. The food is amazing . Some of the Thai dishes are really nice and authentic. Highly recommend the pear tree for a great pint and a bite to eat .
Went in for a wedding meal, a bit of a wait as they was 12 of us but well worth it, The staff was on the ball as we walked in. Great food great pub
Service wasn't the best if I'm honest however I'm not bothered about that so much ..but might put others off ..I'm all about the food and it was good
Meals were delicious and well worth the price, service was really good. Only down side was it was raining the evening we went and we couldn't make use of the beautiful riverside beer garden. I would definitely visit again.
If you are ever on the M62 near the Brighouse exit and you want a meal that you will want to write about, take the exit, follow signes for Dewsbury and as you are near Mirfield, you will see the Pear Tree on you right. If you are a lover of Thai food make sure before you go that the owner is there
I've been coming to this place for. While now, so here is my review. Food is great and hand crafted from scratch. You can easily tell cheff experience from the begging to end of menu. This place features one of the very best staff service ever seen in a pub. Friendly atmosphere and a really fresh
After a disappointment at the Old Mill, the Pear Tree was a godsend! Lovely Yorkshire hospitality only rivalled by the traditional food served with a smile and on proper satisfying portions. The ladies serving were lovely and prompt. The place is clean and rustic at the same time. Don’t miss it!
First time eating there, the food was very nice, not a lot of veg and my dessert of profiteroles were average and the icecream was crystallised (not sure if that was meant to be that way)and there were 11 of us and one of the meals got mixed up, and there was an issue with the deposit paid, everythi
A massive amount of choice on the menu(s). I plumped for the Pear Tree Burger and was not disappointed either in the taste nor the amount - a truly loaded burger. Great beer range incl ales, lagers & a great 6.7% stout on tap. Faultless service, many bar staff & a serving lady. A chilled out pub wit
Good food with fair prices and a good atmosphere
