As a proud supporter of quality, independent businesses, I was pleased to be recommended this little gem in Minehead whilst visiting West Somerset. I'm so pleased to have made this place a regular lunchtime stopping place.
With stunning, freshly prepared food, friendly service and some of the best coffee available in the area, this place should be on your must-visit list if you're in the area.
Reservations encouraged on busy days!
I went in there for the first time in feburary and the lady was very cheerful and friendly and the gentleman was a good man as well. I came in only for the fizzy grapefruit and it tasted great. I came back in April around my birthday week and saw them again, and I had their spicy sausage and mash and it tasted fantasticio and very well cooked. The day before I left, I was gonna come in for dinner but said they had a party but as I said it was my birthday on that day they gave me a free grapefruit fizzy drink. Very genious but didn't have to. I would recommend people from Kent or tunbridge wells to come down this place if you like a bit of Australian or Italian food, this place was the best with the best people working. Thank you. :-)
we absolutely love this place, the food is amazing and you won't find anywhere else. All home made by Christina, whilst Gavin her husband will serve you with a smile. They only use fresh ingredients, often from their allotments and also very authentic ones, brought by special suppliers or directly from Italy. You must come and visit if you fancy a lunch or breakfast with a difference.
Fantastic little Italian cafe, with a small Aussie twist. Food is beautiful and simple and the "staff" are truly wonderful
A must visit when in Minehead, great food and great people running it.
Wish I lived nearer, I wouldn't bother cooking! Fabulous food and a wonderful ambience.
Such a delightful little restaurant that we are glad we tried while we were in the area. The meals were hearty, tasty and full of love. The woman who makes all the dishes was very warm and welcoming, as was her Aussie husband. Highly recommend this place!

Passioni Italiane in Minehead exceeded all expectations! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. The ambiance transported us straight to Italy with its charming decor and cozy atmosphere.
The menu was simple and perfect for lunch, We started with the bruschetta, a burst of fresh flavors that set the tone for the meal. The pasta dishes were cooked to perfection, and the sauces were rich and full of depth - we loved the Lamb and Rasin Meat Balls, and the Baked Beetroot Risotto was something else! 👌🏻
What truly stood out was the genuine passion for Italian cuisine that radiated from the couple who run it. They were not only friendly about the menu but also eager to share their story of how they found themselves in Minehead.. It's rare to find such a genuine Italian gem in a Somerset town, but Passioni Italiane is a true hidden treasure.
We left with full bellies and grateful hearts, already planning our next visit. If you're looking for an incredible Italian dining experience, look no further than Passioni Italiane. It's a delightful taste of Italy right in the heart of Somerset.
Came here today (with no reservation) for lunch, celebrating our anniversary. Staff are so incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food is incredible and for the price is very generously sized too. I’d highly recommend!
This is a little hidden gem. Having lived in Italy I always find eating Italian food out of italy difficult. It certainly was not here. The food was fabulous. Beautiful bruschetta, homemade asparagus pasta, veal and risotto, cannoli pistachio, gorgeous espresso and red wine. Service was good and friendly. If you want excellent food in a friendly setting we would highly recommend. All round excellent lunch!

GREAT HOSTS 👍
Very homely and welcoming place, I have been back since I did this review.
A pot of tea which has taken the top spot now off Horner tea room.
The tea was exceptional, the teapot huge. Had many cups from it.
Also had their home made baked beans (absolutely delicious) with scrambled eggs on ciabatta bread.
Very wholesome fresh tasty well cooked food. Worth every penny.
One of the few places in Minehead that takes food and customers seriously.
ONE OF THE BEST ESPRESSO COFFEE MAKERS IN THE UK.
YOU MUST TRY.!!
The photo doesn't do justice to this place.
Best coffee in town and good, courteous service.
The brunch I had - a while ago- was very good and flavoursome.
Gets crowded because it's tiny, but holds its own despite other similar places almost next door.
Has a regular clientele.
A local gem.
Really tasty and fresh home made food and v friendly service.
They made the table specially for my mother in law’s birthday it looked really lovely. We had tagliatelle ragu and burrata tomato salad. Delicious cakes and affogato for dessert
And they sell good quality olive oil and other tasty things
