Great range of good cakes, snacks, light bites etc, friendly helpful staff, spacious inside (with jukebox!) and pleasant outside. Cycle friendly, if you don't mind cycling uphill to get there!

Lovely dog friendly cafe with great walks across Minchinhampton common or Rodborough common right on the doorstep of this beautifully converted old pub in the Cotswolds. Stopped to enjoy a nice thick sandwich which was generously filled with good quality ingredients (had a bacon, Brie and cranberry sandwich) which came with crisps and a fresh side salad for £4.00. A nice cup of coffee cost only £1.50 (I had a flat white - which came in a large cup so I suggest asking for an extra shot if you're not offered when ordering or you may find it a bit weak depending on your strength preference). This was followed by a few cakes which we shared. The cake stole the show. Counted 11 different homemade cakes ranging from traditional to complete indulgence. (Options which were dairy free and gluten free on offer) There were also 4 types of cheesecake that looked delicious also, but after the sandwich would have been ambitious. The place has been so beautifully converted from an old pub and retains lots of the traditional Cotswold feel, but with the modern touches to make it cool and comfortable, even for parents young children or anyone with access issues . The roaming cows going past the windows were great to watch. If your driving through the Cotswolds, the cafe's postcode should go in your sat nav right now and it will lead you to the large car park of the best cafe in Minchinhampton. The fact all proceeds go to charity should help seek the deal ;) Enjoy!

What a fabulous find! We had a rather disappointing day in Stroud, but a short drive away and we found the Halfway Cafe for lunch. We are a 3 generational family, myself, my daughter and 2 small grandchildren. We ordered bacon, brie and cranberry paninis, and drinks. Our 4 year old and 1 year old grandchildren were given drinks and snacks and allowed to amuse themselves with toys. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The cakes looked fantastic, but we didn't have space. Maybe next time. We will be back, even though its an hour from home. Thank you from Anne, Victoria, Monty and Maeby.

Excellent cafe, training people with learning difficulties. Loved the coffee and cakes and were served by a lovely young lady, on her very first shift
