A long time favourite of mine (40years +) I have seen Landlords and ladies and laterly owners come and go and I have without exception enjoyed their company and wares. The new owners are bravely moving the Pub onwards and I have no doubt they will succeed. I wish them all the best. I had a lovely few pints of Porter there last night and a good chat with regulars I have come to know well. Will remain a firm favourite watering hole for me.

I brought my brother-in-law to experience a proper local pub, as he was visiting from the US. There was a quiz on with a fantastic atmosphere, the service was excellent, good drink selection and the food was spot on. This was the third time I've been for food and have been impressed every time and the staff have been welcoming and friendly on every occasion. Highly recommend!
I love this pub! I found it when visiting family and will often pop in with my partner and dog after a country walk when I'm in the area. The staff are friendly, the food is tasty, and they have a large garden to enjoy a sunny afternoon in. Highly recommend, and looking forward to my next visit out of London
Popped in for a pint ended up with a meal and reservation for Sunday lunch. Very pleasant, small country pub. Excellent food ( recommend the cheese cake ) and the Sunday roast beef was first class. Not cheap but excellent value. Keep it up !

Not a quiet Monday evening. I'd brought my mum home from Brighton and we decided to eat at The Swan, I rang for a reservation and was told almost apologetically that it was 'pie night'. 🥧 Oh my days, I am a pie fanatic, so I popped round as quick as you like and ordered a chicken, ham and leek pie. It came with mash and gravy and a cheeky extra order of cauliflower cheese. And one bite later, that was it. The best pie I have ever tasted,and I must say I've tasted a fair few. Lovely taste, full of flavour, packed with prime ingredients and excellent flaky pastry. Swan at Milton I am desolated, I will never be able to search for the ultimate pie again. My research is over. All other pies will pale into insignificance. As Arnie so eloquently put it. 'I will return '
What a little gem of a place. The menu isn't extensive, but there's enough variety for all but the pickiest gourmands.
The staff are fantastic, as is the food.
Definitely a place to revisit sooner rather than later!
Another wonderful meal! We had originally booked another place but decided to cancel and booked the Swan instead as you cannot beat the Sunday lunch here and we were not disappointed. The place was nicely busy, brilliant atmosphere, stunning food and the staff are really helpful and very attentive. Highly recommended xx
Was absolutely amazed by this country gem. I found it a friendly, cozy place for drinks but also a fantastic fancy dinner spot. Thank you the team at The Swan, I will be returning!
I was incredibly impressed with everything in all honesty. Superb service and delicious food; Tapas during the week is an excellent and delightful idea and to then pull it off catering to our large group of diners was doubly impressive.
I became concerned when my brother drank too much sangria and fell into the gate on the way home - he still has some teeth left - but it was a wonderful evening and we will be back
