Best pub in my village. Super friendly, live music and always someone to listen to. Today's menu was Lamb mince and was lovely. But the Lion and Lamb is very well known for their deserts. Give them a try. Thank you guys!

Great tasting roast, efficient service and an amazingly tasty cheesecake!
Having the veg in a share dish was great for those of us who don’t need quite as much broccoli as your average human.
My mum and I had a late lunch here one afternoon and it was fantastic. The food was delicious, every staff member we saw was kind, helpful and really welcoming😊

We had a lovely Sunday roast here this weekend. There are new owners and they made sure that our meals were delicious and took excellent care of us. They even came out with extra Yorkshire puddings for our children when they heard how much they liked it. A fair price for delicious food, a little bit more meat would have been generous.
The playground is perfect to keep the younger kids entertained and parking was easy.
One of the nicest burgers I’ve had! Really nice little pub just outside Cambridge. On the pricey side but absolutely worth it. I hope to stop by again.
Plenty of choice on the menu. Lovely food and pleasant service. It was a bit quiet tonight because of the rain, but we had a delicious meal.
Went there for Sunday lunch with my grandson. Food was great, good friendly service and, important for us, very dog friendly. We have caravan near by and will visit again.
Very nice roast dinner and dessert, just a bit annoyed with 10% service charge on bill, think it's cheeky and would put me off returning. I do tip with cash I don't like to be forced into it bit rude I think!

Came for the Sunday lunch with family and I w we’re not disappointed.

The staff were very friendly and attentive throughout.
Didn’t have to wait long for food and it was served piping hot.

Absolutely perfect roast dinner . Our 2nd visit since the new landlady arrived and we love it here . Food is always piping hot and tastes amazing. All the girls serving are lovely and polite , landlady a lovely lady . We will definitely be back .

Great service, great food.
Went for dinner on Saturday evening for the first time since the pub reopened. The atmosphere was good, with a mix of clientel. Families in the restaurant, drinkers in the bar, everyone enjoying themselves.
The food was great! I had the steak and ale pie, which was tender and rich, with a light and tasty casing. The chips were among the best I've tasted and as for dessert! The cheesecake was divine! The rest of the family enjoyed the food too, especially the kids, who got a dessert included in their meal price, which was very reasonable. Clean plates all round!
All of this was served to us by happy, attentive staff, who neither kept us waiting, or rushed us to leave once we'd finished (It was busy). In fact they made us feel like we were the only ones there, chatting with the kids and amending the items we ordered (the kids are fussy eaters lol) as well as getting us extra sauces etc.
I would highly recommend this place for families, especially as they have a large play area outside!
Great pub with friendly, helpful staff, nice interior, nice beer garden. Will be back.
Lovely, friendly, bit on the expensive side but it is good value. Its a nice place to take the children to play of which many pubs have done away with.
Great little local pub, filled with the kind of old world charm you'd expect, but with a complimentary modern decor. Good choice of ales and ciders, and the food is anecdotally very good too
